Countdown to all things Harry Potter

It is now twenty days till Harry Potter Mania begins. What are you doing to get prepared?

Today I went online and bought a cool black witches dress and McGonagall's hat. I work at Barnes and Noble so I will be dressing up for work when we have our party.

    Are you ready?

Yo, Nan! I see that HP7 price at BN is $18.89 with the $25 book club card.
So, how do I get a free book club card? Hook me up, girlfriend??
I just don't buy enough books to justify a book club card.
Costco will have book for $18.99.

What am I doing? I'm squirming in my seat, for starters.
I'm going to check movie times for Wednesday 7/11.
I might read HP6 one more time.
But once I get the book, I'm reading.

I'm trying to burn my audiobooks to CD for my boss' kids for their road trip starting tomorrow but my iPod and iTunes are giving me a hard time!

I'm rereading the books! I'm about to start PoA. I'm also catching up on Mugglenet's podcasts.

    I'm so excited!

Nancy, I bought a book that B&N had on display called The End of Harry Potter? just to get some ideas flowing. Have you read it? I just sent it to MTNGIRL so we can compare notes. (I mailed it yesterday, btw )

I am re-reading 5 and 6, listening to the podcasts, and waiting anxiously. I already have a Ravenclaw robe, but I doubt I will want to wear it in July. You never can tell though....

I'm rereading 6 before the new book comes out. I opted not read 5 before the movie. I did that with PoA and Goblet and was disappointed after the movie. Don't wanna do that this time.

I need to reread the last two books. Otherwise, when I see the movie, and get the next book, I will be lost. My memory fails, since it was a very long time since the last movie, and the last book.

Seriously, I can make a costume! Just let me know what you think. We'll be going out at night, won't it have cooled off?

I know what you mean about reading a book, before a movie comes out that the movie is based on. I did a lot of comparing with Goblet of Fire. I drove my grandson crazy with all my negative comments. Goblet of Fire was a good movie, but I was upset by some of the things that were different than the book.

However, I read pretty fast, and reading the books puts me "in the mood" for the new book, and the new movie. It will be a "Harry Potter" summer.

I'm sure I'll be doing a midnight showing again. I'll have to discuss it since the last midnight show didn't work out well. Not HP, just midnight show.
