Because you pre-ordered I'm sure you'll be ok but from what I was told, it sounds like you will need a bracelet. They're calling in groups at a time that have a certain bracelet so they can get theirs first.

Oy. I'll call and see what they recommend.

It's funny how much planning and preparation I've put into this....more than when I was going to give birth or take the SATs.

I'm thinking I'll pick it up at Wal-Mart tonight with no celebration or anything.

There will be plenty of copies around come tomorrow, here at least.
    What an idiot....

Yeah, I do that Twitter thing.

You're more prepared than me at least.
I didn't pre-order at the bookstore and I've known I was going to a party. I still don't even know what book store I want to go to........

    Good luck with the call.
Both people I talked to at each Borders seemed a little out of it.

Local Costco opens at 9AM tomorrow. That's where I'll be.

We're back from B&N. We got there at 10:22, waited 40 minutes, and we got group.... D!!! I am so stoked... One lady came out and talked to people just behind us, she'd been there since before 9am, waited 1 1/2 hours, and got group C. I am so glad we waited until 10.

So so so stoked. 4th group to buy the book tonight. Stoked. Been waiting 8 years for this. I think I'll go take a nap now. So stoked.

Wow - - even WalMart is having a HP Party! They start at 8pm and you can get a wristband for getting in line to get your book at midnight. The list of stores participating is 60 pages long, so I'm guessing most stores are participating. Not sure of the price at WalMart - online price is $17.87 though. (Costco is 18.19)

I have to sleep at some point tonight though - Tink's birthday bash is tomorrow evening (yeah, I know -- poor planning on my part! I've been told that a few times since the invites went out...)!!
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!

The WalMart over here is not going to be open. How about the one by you?

Really? The Bremerton store is on the list of "Participating Stores" that I checked on their website, as is the PO store. Hmmm, perhaps a phone call may be necessary.

We are going to dinner in Tacoma (after getting Tink at the zoo in the rain - such fun!) and I'm HOPING to be back by 8...we'll see how that plays out.

I just called them and they verified that they will not be open tonight.I also called Port Orchard and they said the same thing. Obviously that Participating Stores list is incorrect. How stupid of them.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! That totally stinks. Oh well, their loss I guess. People would have bought it at their store tonight easily with that lower price. But to have to wait until tomorrow morning? I may as well just get it at Costco since I have to be there in the morning anyway!

    I'm scared too.
The Borders by me was out of bracelets and pre-orders at 11:00......
I'm going to go and hope there are books for sale after all the pre-orders. If not then I guess I'll be reading the Deluxe Edition I bought. (I really didn't want to though........)
