I have a birthday party for my 2 year old niece tomorrow morning so I'm thrilled I once again ordered through Amazon. I would have been a walking zombie if I had to be at a bookstore after midnight and with 15 children i wouldn't have been any fun. Love Amazon!!

I know I'll read like a maniac until 3/4 of the way through when I realize the book is almost done, the series will be over. That's when I'll slow down.

We're going to Compass Books. Anders and I picked up our copies of HBP there 2 years ago on our first night together.

WE were gonna go to BN at the Grove but we'd have to be there by 2 p.m. to get wristbands. So we're going to Borders near the Beverly Center, where they didn't have a single soul as of 11:30 AND plenty of books!

Same way I got the last book. My mom offered to go to the local Meijer up north at midnight and get it for me. She & my dad are going to be out anyway (they're currently at a ballgame) so they don't mind.

Turns out that we'll be waiting til tomorrow. Not that any other MCers appear headed to the Ventura B and N anyway. Kathleen's the Potter fan in our family...I was going to pick up the book for her.

I am actually not going to read it right away, I started re-reading book 5 after seeing the movie and will probably move on to book 6 then 7.

That way I can delay the end of the series for a while, so PLEASE anyone who reads post spoiler warnings !

Aww that's the store where I picked up the last two books. This time I'm going to a BN. Picked up my wristband (there was a bunch of kids in the store reading the older books) but my plan is just to stroll in around closing, maybe 1am. I want the book tonight but I hate waiting in line.
