Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...
Grim, disturbing, like - really disturbing. I felt sick, at how realistic and brutal it was. Eurgh.

Nobody is mentioning anything about Chapter 1. I guess I will be the first.
Having seen all 5 of the Harry Potter Movies,, you get a verbal picture when you begin to read the book.
Right from the beginning, you wonder again if Snape is really a traitor to Dumbledore.
I kept wondering who the suspended person was.
I can envision the Draco family, and their cringing in the presence of Voldemort.
One thing I really respect about Rowling is how the first chapter is always different, but recaps everything so nicely. I especially loved in the last book how we got to see the Muggle Prime Minister. She related everything to us indirectly. It was very wonderful.
