well I am personally bringing this thread back to life to say the carpenters ,Jim Nabors, and josh grobin lend them selfs well to the elevator. And I as a loyal fan feel obligated to say I ADORE Streisand! but to each his own ehh? what i cant stand is the mediocre "pop" singers that don't have any range or talent. they just take what comes and have no control over what is put on their albums.
and what ever happened to lyrics? Herold Arlen wrote great lyrics with moving melody's! why are kids listening to "I got it from my mama" or "to the left"
britney, x-tinia, Justin, anyone under 26 make my ears bleed. It not even that I don't like pop, it the fact todays singers are no longer artists with great vocal capacity!
and I dont like Bette midler either! (streisand wanna be)
