    It's also rerunning Oct 19th, Friday, at 11 a.m. I believe that's EST.
Hope they show it sometime when I can see it, even if I'm hearing it's not so good
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I'm watching it right now and am not that impressed. Maybe it's one of those show you have to see in perosn to really experience it? And the audience is acting more like this is a MTV awards show, as opposed to a Broadway show. SO distracting.

yes i agree, not very classy. I've always seen broadway as a sorta of upper- class classy kind of event, and this doesnt fit the mold.
which is ok, because im sure lots of people would enjoy it, but its not really my kinda of show.

I have a feeling that MTV wants them to act like that too, just to drive up the excitement, but still doesn't fit.

I'm trying to watch it - I missed the first little bit, but so far, it's not too great.

I actually left during the court scene and missed the end. Don't think it's my type of play. But, in other Broadway related news, I got my tickets to the Little Mermaid today for my Theater Class!

I'm jealous about the Little Mermaid! Fun!

As for more on Legally Blonde - I just don't think the jokes went over quite as well as they did in the movie. It doesn't have the same witty charm.

I started watching it and got hooked. It's cute. Then my son wanted to play videogames so I recorded the rest. Probably won't get to see the rest until next week, but the numbers that I did see were well done, the singers talented and the dancing energetic. I've never seen the movie, so maybe that plays a part in my liking the musical but I can't wait to watch the rest.

I recorded it but haven't watched it yet. The only impression I got from yesterday's preview was that the girl playing Elle was trying way too hard to be Reese Witherspoon instead of putting her own spin on the character.

The girl that played Paulette, hated her voice but I liked her better than Jennifer Coolidge. I don't get the bend and snap. It's pointing to your boobs in a bad way. But I did like the guy who played Emmet. The "My name!" song I liked.

That said it reminded me of "Footloose" on Broadway.

Re: "Legally Blonde The Musical" on MTV

The people from MTV needed to go... those girls in their faux maternity clothes were just way too annoying.

As for the show... seeing it in person is always the best idea. However, I don't get to go to live shows like others do, so this is the best I can do.

I'm not very familiar with the movie. I saw about the last 3/4 of the sequel and was familiar with what it was about, but that's about it. However, I rather enjoyed the music and such. It definitely seemed a bit hurried at points, but the musical numbers were enjoyable. And I have trouble getting "Oh My God" out of my head!

Not my favorite musical, but it was decent enough.

I would've rather them do it to Young Frankenstein so that I could see it ASAP.

MTV is going to air Legally Blonde: The Musical again on Thanksgiving, twice.

    2pm
    9pm

Those times are Arizona, so I think PT would be 1pm and 8pm
    Dream a fantastic dream...
