Stephanie plum books! One for the money is book one. By Janet Evanovich. They're great. Her witty writing style reminds me of Meg Cabot.

Jane Eyre, again. I always forget how dismal the beginning of the book is.

I am re-reading The Chosen by Chaim Potok. If you didn't read this in high school, it is a must read (or reread)!

This series is one of my guilty pleasures. For some reason Carlisle in my mind is played by an improv guy at DCA. Look at the movie casting. Robert's hot.

Love this book! I read it in high school...

    Picked up 4 books today:
    -Going Home by Harriet Evans
-Sew What! Skirts (making a skirt tomorrow. Pictures will follow.)
-One for the Money (Stephanie Plum's book)
-How to be Popular-Meg Cabot (it was $6!)

Oh! And my mom is trying her hand at writing fiction. So I spent the evening reading a few chapters. Really cute!

I tried reading Mr. Maybe by Jane Green but couldn't get into it. But I have A Lady Of Hidden Intent by Tracie Peterson waiting for me at the library.

So for now i'm re-reading Confessions of a Shopaholic series.

Feast: A History of Grand Eating by Roy Strong is my current book. I was reading Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan, but didn't finish before the due date.

Re: What book are you reading? (or just finished)

I just finished the 4th book in the Vatta War’s book, Command Decision, by Elizabeth Moon. The series is a good old fashion rip-roaring space adventure of a young commander over coming the odds and leading a fight against space pirates.

Unlike the third book, with suffered heavily from middle book syndrome, the forth books picks up the action and several of the characters become a lot less whiney. Despite the problems with the third book, I have really enjoyed the series and do recommend them. But I do also strongly recommend starting with the first book (Trading in Danger) and reading them in order, they are not stand alone books.

The fifth and final book has come out in hardback so you don’t have to worry about starting a series that is not finished.

I just finished Peter and the Shadow Thieves - loved it! It's fun to see Peter and other characters develop.

Everything Must Change: Jesus, Global Crises, and a Revolution of Hope, by Brian McLaren.

Just started it two days ago, and I'm already up to the 7th chapter. It's absolutely riveting!
