I am currently addicted to the In Death series by Nora Roberts, writing as JD Robb. I am on, I think, the 3rd from the last of 25 books and I think I started them in February. It has been slow at work, just don't tell my boss.

I love the Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder! i just got book 2. Not that I've started it yet.

Fearless Fourteen was good, but not my favorite in the series. I felt that parts were strained and that Morelli and Ranger were just in the background. But still worth reading! Anyone know how many Stephanie Plum novels there are going to be?

According to Janet's website: Currently Janet is contracted through 16.

Plus Plum Spooky is coming out in January 09 as well as book 15 sometime in 2009.

Re: What book are you reading? (or just finished)

I just finished Spinning Disney's World by Charles Ridgeway. It was a very nice read. His long career with Disney gives a near history of the Disney parks. The best part was that first hand, personal involvement that is lacking in a lot of the writings on Disney history. It is great to hear from somebody who was actually there.

Hopefully, tomorrow I will get Where's My Jetpack?: A Guide to the Amazing Science Fiction Future that Never Arrived and The End of the Innocence: The 1964-1965 New York World's Fair in the mail. In the next couple of days I will also begin reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer as part of a deal with my girlfriend. For every part of Atlas Shrugged that she reads, I will read a Twilight novel.

I just finished "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" by Kim Edwards. I really enjoyed it. Kinda sad and a little frustrating, but she captures emotions so well.

Just finished When You Are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris. All of his books are hilarious, and this one keeps the laughs coming at every page. He has to be the best auto-biographical author out there.

^ I love the mediator series! I just finished them.

And I gave in. I order Twilight this morning. I'm going to see what all the fuss is about. It'll be here early next week.
