Re: What book are you reading? (or just finished)

Just finished Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Just started Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkhaban.

I'm also going to start Barack Obama's book "Dreams of our Fathers" soon.

Once the HP books are done, it's time for my yearly read-through of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings books. I need to get fresh copies though, mine are worn out.

Re: What book are you reading? (or just finished)

    On vacation I finished:

-Sugar cookie murder, Peach Cobbler Murder by Joanne Fluke
-Breaking Dawn, Twilight (for the 5th time) by Stephenie Meyer
-Suite Scarlett (didn't like, had a hard time getting into, found it boring)
-A Lady Of Secret Devotion by Tracie Peterson

I re-started Boy Next Door, by Meg Cabot. I didn't like it the first time around because the email thing was getting old and boring, but put 2-3 glasses of wine in me and I'll read anything.

Just finished the Boy Next Door. It was cute. I just had to get over the email thing. The beginning is just hard to read because she's trying too hard to be "quirky" and smart.

I'm reading The Pirates in an Adventure with Ahab, after finishing Pirates in an Adventure with Scientists. Definitely one of the more interesting books series out there...

That's my favorite of her adult books. The e-mail thing was hard to read the first time around, but then I re-read it and got used to it.

I ordered a few books from the libary I am picking up tomorrow:
-Cherry Cheesecake Murder by Joanne Fluke
-This pen for hire by Laura Levine (supposed to be a good series)
-The Hawk and the Jewel by Lori Wick (never read anythnig by her, but my mom has read many of her books, so I thought i'd give it a try)

Hilarious ... but if you are easily offended, I'd avoid it.
