Re: What book are you reading? (or just finished)

I finished Mirror Mirror. I did'nt really like it. A bit too "out there" and more of a fantasy-type book which isn't my stye. Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister way better. I have the other one to read but I think I'll find something a bit lighter to read first!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I've given up reading Marie Antoinette: The Joruney and re-reading Marley and Me for now and started re-reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

Just finished DRY ICE by Stephen White. It's a mystery/thriller in the mold of Jonathan Kellerman's Alex Delaware series, except I've come to like this series better.

Not sure what to start next. Was going to start Kim Stanley Robinson's FIFTY DEGREES BELOW, but I found out that it's the second book of a trilogy, and so I've gotta find the first book. Kellerman has one out called OBSESSION, and I might just start this one...

Press today is so concerned with cool vs. not cool that they're starting to forget good vs. bad. I'm not sure I'll ever be "cool", but I will always tirelessly strive to be "great". - Josh Groban
