At first I was like ... how in the heck did you read The Iliad or the Odyssey in 99 minutes. Then I actually read what you actually typed.

I mean, it took me probably a week for both, but 99 minutes, that's amazing.

"the weight of water" by Anita Shreve. It was different LOL My least fave of the ones of hers I've read, but I think it was an earlier book of hers.

    I'm still reading Twilight...
    I know, I'm lame.

Just haven't had enough time to read it lately.

I'm currently reading "Body Surfing" by her. I'm about a 1/3 of the way into it. Love her writing style!

She's one of my favorite authors I don't think I've read that one though! I'll have to see if the library has that one.

Two more Judith McNaught romances; Something Wonderful and Almost Heaven. Sometimes you just have to read something light.

Trying to read The Scarlet Pimpernel but having a hard time. It is not like the movies that I have seen so I keep wondering why that haven't gotten to that part yet or why haven't I read about Percy's romance with Margarite yet? But I will stick with it.

I love the Scarlet Pimpernel! And the other 15 books in the series. I've never seen the movies, but in the book, nothing really romantic happens until the end.

Mirror Mirror by the guy that wrote Wicked. And still trying to get through Midnight Sun (it's really hard to read because I keep thinking "STALKER!").

New books arrived today, so I just barely started In God We Trust: All Others Pay Cash by Jean Shepherd. For those that may not know, part of In God We Trust is the basis for the film A Christmas Story, narrated by Shepherd.

Not too bad, funny in some places, but I don't have anything else to read.

Just finished (minutes ago) Forever Odd by Dean Koontz. I got the next book in the Odd Thomas series, Brother Odd, off ebay. Hopefully it'll arrive in the next day or two.
