Re: What book are you reading? (or just finished)

I just finished Inkheart and The Tale of Desperaux. If there's a book and then a movie, I usually try to read the book first. I liked Inkheart, Tale of Desperaux was just depressing.

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

Still reading this one, but I had to put it aside for something lighter and funny, bad week. So I read The Bachelorette Party by Karen Mccullah Lutz, it was a light fun read. Just what I needed.

Of course I couldn't remember where I put Name All the Animals and at the same time discovered I had a copy of Marley & Me that I'd never read. So now I"m reading Marley & Me and looking for my other book.

Rhett Butler's People. I have wanted to read it since it came out and finally got my hands on a copy in the bargain shelf at Borders. Loved it. I like seeing a different side of a story that I know very well, probably why I love Wicked!
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!

Just finished When The Heart Cries by Cindy Woodsmall. Supposed to be a good Amish series, but it wasn't. Seemed too modern and wasn't crazy about the storyline.

Marley and Me is in my top 10 (maybe top 5 favorite books).

I finished Ready or Not Saturday. Then started Walk of Fame (Shame? forget the title...) by Sharon Krum. I'm hoping to finish that today so I can start Austen.

I rather liked the second one, honestly.

Reading Summer Snow by nicole baart. it's ok.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
