Just finished Palkhi: An Indian Pilgrimage, and now I'm onto Journey in Search of the Dharma.

These are readings for my religions class.

Press today is so concerned with cool vs. not cool that they're starting to forget good vs. bad. I'm not sure I'll ever be "cool", but I will always tirelessly strive to be "great". - Josh Groban

Both of those are really good!

The Hiding Place- Corrie ten Boom It really made me think about how I would act in her situation, if I would be willing to give up everything so that others could have a chance. Really profound.

Finally fiished the one book - Stamped Out I think it was called.
I did a quick read of "I Can Haz Cheezeburger" and next is a Dean Koontz book. I haven't read him in YEARS so I'm excited.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

    Such a good book.

I misplaced The Sleeping Beauty Proposal for a bit & just found it. Before finding it I read Hissy Fit by Mary Kay Andrews(cute, fun read)and Sundays at Tiffanys by James Patterson, which I loved.

Finished book VI in the Dark Tower Series, Song of Susannah.

You know, Stephen King has got some ... well, I guess guts since this is a family board.

It's one thing to write yourself into your own book as a character called Stephen King.

It's quite something else to take a real life incident in your life (when he got hit by a car in 2003) and use that in your book as an element to kill yourself off in your own book.

    Freakin' crazy.

Starting Book VII "The Dark Tower" tonight. Can't wait to finish it so I can get on with some lighter reading, and to see how it ends.

I liked Lovely Bones a lot. I just kinda' wished they would've found her body at the end...

I got through 1 chapter of Jane Austen today and then reading "Dating Big Bird" as well.

wow. I didn't know he did that. That does take some......guts.

I've always admired him. The man is amazing. He has written SO many books....and each so very different and so well written. It blows my mind that someone has that in them.

Currently re-reading "Angels & Demons" by Dan Brown.

Planning on reading "A Stitch in Time" by Andrew J. Robinson after that. (I've always thought Elim Garak is one of the most fascinating characters in the Star Trek universe, so I'm very much looking forward to reading his story).
