Today I finished The Magician's Nephew and thoroughly enjoyed it. Last night I also breezed through It's Not Easy Being Green And Other Things to Consider, by "Jim Henson, the Muppets, and Friends." Very pleasant. Next, I'm onto The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
I'm leaving for my California trip and most of my luggage is books (is books? Are books?). So packed in there I have: my Anatomy/Phys. textbook, "So What?" and "Extras" by Westerfeld, the witch books by Mindy Klasky, "Opposite of Love," "Idiot's Guide to Enlightenment" (it's fiction), and something else. Seriously my entire purse is filled with books (and yarn) and my carryon is weighted by my A&P book.
9 days in California, I'm going to be reading most of the time.
Finshed reading: Indiana Jones and the Interior World by Rob MacGregor
Just starting: Indiana Jones and the Sky Pirates by Martin Caidin
Interior World was a little bizarre. There are six Indy novels written by MacGregor and were the first six in the Indiana Jones Bantam novel series. They flow into each other a little bit, especially Unicorn's Legacy and Interior World. MacGregor has a new Indy book coming out this year based on the new video game Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings.
