J.K. Rowling's Potter book hint

J.K. Rowling has considered writing an eighth 'Harry Potter' book, but insists the boy wizard would not be the "central character".

Ugh. Just leave it be, Rowling.
I'd love to see another series come from her on this, whether it's about Harry's kids or a whole new group of students.

Why not? The Harry Potter series have been with us for a couple of years and it never gets boring. If another Harry Potter book arrives in the shelves, I will surely buy it.
It may be time for you to get on that needed vacation
I will read anything related to Harry's world. It would be amazing to have anything from that universe in the future. I'll be a happy happy purchaser should it come to be.

I wouldn't mind reading anything she writes that has to do with Harry Potter. After the last book I feel like it's gone and I hate that. I would be really excited for anything she did.
This appears to be a non-subject actually. Even J.K. herself uses terms like "if" and "may revive...one day".
My personal opinion...Harry's story and those immediately around him has been told, it's over. I wouldn't mind seeing a story that takes place in that world come out, but not a "Harry Potter" story.
I certainly wouldn't mind. A world of witches and wizards lends itself to pretty much as many books as she'd care to write. Of course, it just wouldn't be the same if it's just a one shot. The beauty of the Harry Potter series is the way all seven books connect.
I kind of wish she wouldn't make vague hints like this though. Considering the obsessiveness of the fan base, comments like these are going to cause lot of people to flat out expect the eight book now, and there will be some disappointment if she fails to deliver.
I don't want to seem elitist, but I really have to say, if people take those comments to mean that there will be an 8th book then that is their problem and lack of control over their assumption skills.
All she basically said was "maybe in ten years I might be interested in that world again." If anyone takes that and makes it into an assumption that she will do an 8th book and gets dissappointed when no 8th book comes out, that is not J.K.R.'s fault. She was asked a question and she answered it honestly. I don't see any "vague hints" in her answer. She simply answered honestly that sometime in the future she may have interest in that world again enough to put out another story about it. Power to her for answering truthfully. What the fantical side of her fans do with that answer is not her problem nor should it be.
I just want the Encyclopedia volume she was talking about at one point.
shes not making an eighthharry potter book i dont know about anyother but she wont write an eightj because if you look at the seventh book at the beginning it says the seventh and final conclusion to the potter books
