Thank you POISONEDAPPLES!
Jealous! Jealous! JEALOUS!Roxy Music 1980
I did see them on their reunion tour in 2001, which was so awesome. Had to travel to Atlanta to see them as that was the closest they were coming to me and I knew I had to see them as I figured it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity. I was probably the youngest one there, but I had a blast dancing and singing along and going nuts over Bryan Ferry. One lady by me said, " You don't look like you're old enough to even know who they are!" (I was 26/27 at the time). I told her I'd been a fan since the Avalon album (which was actually their last) and that shut her up.![]()
Sadly i have only been to two concerts in my life, Rush last summer and Spice Girls when i was young..... So between the two im goign with Rush
I'm going to really date myself here.
In August of 1976, I had third row tickets in the shed at Tanglewood (in western MA) for a show by Crosby and Nash.
At that time, Tanglewood was being sued by its neighbors for loud noises from concerts featuring rock acts.
So after about four songs, they "pulled the plug." The entire band went back stage and regrouped for 20 minutes, and then came out and played for three hours of various songs, all acoustic, some of which I doubt they've ever played that way, before or since. It was magical.
After that, I think I'd have to include the Pink Floyd "Meddle" tour; the early Genesis tours; and the Allman Brothers at the Fillmore East.
Really too many to pick from. One of the best because of the lineup was the H.O.R.D.E. Tour (Horizons of Rock Developing Endlessly) at the Lakewood Ampitheatre in Atlanta. An all day festival that had all of these bands on stage the same day:
There was also a smaller stage that had some other bands on it that I can't remember.
- Sheryl Crow
- Ziggy Marley
- Dave Mathews Band
- Blues Traveler
- The Black Crows
Ozomatli- Maritime Hall, San Francisco 2001
The Who- Hollywood Bowl 2006
Page and Plant- San Diego Sports Arena 1995
Dave Matthews Band- Shoreline Amphitheatre 1998/Coors Amphitheatre 1999-2007
Prince- Cox Arena, San Diego 2005

Amnesia used to be my favourite word, but I forgot it.
I have been to quite a few but rank up in the top would have to be
U2 Zoo TV tour or the Elton John and Eric Clapton in '92
Fratsor Sister - Delta Mu Chi Alpha

There's too many of them for me to count. I seriously love all the concerts I've been too.
Most intimate for me was at HOB in Anaheim when I saw CheapTrick a couple of years ago. Looking at my man Robin Zander up close and personal will forever be embedded in my heart.![]()
Ginarella, Robin Zander is from Clearwater. Sometimes he'll come out to see the local bands around here play and has even gotten onstage with some for a song or two.
B-52's & the Pretenders: Actually it was the first concert I ever went to and it was amazing! It was the music I was raised on and I was probably one of the youngest people at the concert :P
The other one I loved was "Next Fest 07": As lame as it sounds it was Corbin Bleu, Drake Bell, and Aly & AJ but it was so much fun.... this time I was one of the oldest ones there aside from like the parents. And I got to meet Corbin & Drake afterwards
Man this is hard I should also mention The Barenaked Ladies concert I went to on New Years this year! It was hilarious. As was seeing They Might Be Giants in Tucson and seeing Maroon 5 before they were famous at a Michelle Branch concert
