Best concert you've ever been to?

So what's the best concert (or concerts) you've ever been to?

Me? Has to be U2 in 2005. I'd never seen them before until then but heard such great things about their shows. I was not disappointed. It was probably the closest thing to having a religious experience without having one.

2nd best has to be The Police last summer. My seat sucked, but the sound was amazing and I sang and danced my butt off.

3rd best is probably Duran Duran in 1987. A close tie would be seeing the original lineup in 2005. I've seen them 11 times between those 2 shows.

4th place has to be a tie between The Cure last month and Chic in 2004.

Honorable mentions go to: Sugar Ray, Live, OK Go & Rick Springfield.

Hands down....Paul McCartney on November 3, 2005. He was in top form and sang SO many of my favorite Beatles tunes as well as Wings. He was amazing and the band was too!

Prince, in 1987 was abosfreakinglutely amazing. He was great the second time I saw him but the first time was amazing.

Bowling for Soup last year at House of Blues. I took my son for his 13th birthday and he got to meet the guys before the show thanks to Frecky. It's one of his favorite bands so he was in heaven. Then during the show they said Happy Birthday to him on stage. It was awesome. The look on his face was priceless.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra Dec 07 - Who woulda thunk it?
At first they played the Christmas stuff and then after that, about another hour of other stuff. Their pyrotechnics were amazing!!

Holy crapolla. I came in here already knowing what I was gonna write. My first was going to be ANY U2 show I've ever been to starting with Popmart until now.

2nd was Travis at DTD House of Blues!!!

I swear I'm not joking.

Third would be Muse.

Best ever was the Monster of Rock at the LA Coliseum. 93,000 people jam packed at it was a scorcher.

They only sold 300 tickets to the public and it was a very intimate and amazing show

Depeche Mode, Concert for the Masses, Rose Bowl in Pasadena, June 1988. It was the most amazing concert experience of my life. It was their thank you to the LA fans that helped launch them.

Had a similar experience with BareNaked Ladies in 1994. They were supporting their 2nd album.

U2, hands down puts on the best show I've ever seen. I've seen them several times and can't pick out a favorite ... although The Joshua Tree Tour was incredible and in '05 for the Vertigo Tour I had general admission floor seats and that was an awesome experience.

Oh so many!!! Any NSYNC one, Bon Jovi in Vegas a few years ago, Matchbox 20 in San Diego in 03? Fabulous. Every Rascal Flatts one is great but the Staples Center 3 years ago was fantastic. Oh and Kenny Chesney, he's so great live.
