    Wii Game Recommendations

As the holiday season blazes toward us at what seems to be warp speed, I find that I need some recommendations for new Wii Games. The games would be for my 9 year old son who would like to branch out a bit from the Lego series of games.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

The Target sale was last week, unless they extended it.

Michele, Shawn loves the Lego games but for Christmas he's asked for Clone Wars and he's getting Pokemon Battle Revolution with his birthday money. Disney Think Fast looks fun as does Family Game Night. Super Smash Brother Brawl is a huge hit at our house also.

I'll second the Lego Games, Mario Kart and Super Smash Brothers.

Also, the Carnival Games is a HUGE hit in our house. We just got the Mini-Gold one from the same makers, but we won't play it until Christmas.

Rayman Raving Rabbids is also fun.

I'm trying to remember what I got from Target...Lego Indy, Da Blob, and MySims Kingdom. I do want the new Carnival Mini-golf, but that's for me.

    Samba de Amigo

John knows I have been talking about it for months, but I love this game. I don't own it yet, but I played it and had as much fun as it is possible to have, trying to samba in front of corporate strangers. I can't wait to play it with my kids so we can be as dorky as we want and laugh at each other.

I don't know which game it is but there is a bowling one that was pretty fun!

    Re: Wii Game Recommendations

I purchased the Wii Fit for myself this summer, but it was the kids who really became obsessed with it (boys 7 and 9.) There are some really fun games that involve balance, i.e. snowboarding, skiing, ski jump, tightrope walking, soccer ball heading, and a fun game where you're a penguin on an iceberg trying to catch fish but trying not to fall into the ocean.

I recently purchased for Christmas the "Outdoor Challenge" game with mat. Based on what the kids liked about the Wii Fit, I think they will like this too and it will get them off the couch!

They are also asking for Bloom Blox and Mario Cart.

I was just coming here to post that Michele, as much fun as you and the kids had with DDR I bet the Outdoor Challenge would be a good fit for you.

DB, that Samba game looks like so much fun!

Totally. Gotta have the maracas. Plus I love the music for the game.

Ok, that convinced me. I want it now.

With the silly moves, Warioware for the Wii was great. LOTS of Micro-games.

Wario Land Shake It? With the gold coins?

I know I am lame, but that game is hard for me.

Wario just makes me laugh, so yeah. Fun game even though I suck at it.

No, WarioWare Smooth Moves. I still haven't tried Shake it yet. Is it the same concept?
