It is produced by Disney Interactive Studios, will be released on Nov. 25, and is available only on the Nintendo Wii platform.
please tell me they changed the date, please!

They didn't change the date. Nov. 25 is the release date for the game in Europe, but since it's Thanksgiving in America that day, it'll be released on Nov. 30 in America.

I wonder how you get inside Walt's Apartment? man this game is going to take us everywhere!

Re: Epic Mickey - Disney References

Got 2 new pictures to post.

The first is a new picture of the recently named level based on New Orleans Square: Bog Easy. Kinda funky name isn't it? It's described in a new online news report that Ventureland is where oswald organized all of the pirate and ghost related items, so looks like this will be a level for Ventureland.

    And the second picture is....

The Clock Tower Boss from Gremlin Village.

    That's it for today.

I always knew that clock was evil. So is it safe to assume the minions that will distract you are the kids that parade around it?

With a world that has a robot version of Hook, and Pete dressed as Pan, I don't think it's safe to assume anything.

I'm just curious as to what Warren Spector hinted at in the Disney blog about how you can befriend the Small World Clock in the game. Maybe that psychotic look on its face will change back to the one we know and love.

I've read that the boss battles are easy. I hope this isn't true though. At least I hope we can pick difficulty settings.

The only problem I can see with Epic Mickey, will be appreciation for all that Spector has put into the game. It feels like he has made this game for a specific demographic, and to ‘get’ all that has been presented, that demographic has a population of one, Spector himself.

For example, the puzzles presented so far are relatively easy, there were some that could be classed as tricky, but given the elements involved, not too hard to figure out in the short term. That, and the ease of battles (remember, this is still early code) indicate the game is slanted towards a younger audience.

The demo that their company played, probably didn't showcase the game's best boss fights or puzzles. More than likely they were given the first level of the game, which is always the easiest level of the game.

As FigmentJedi pointed out, 'Merchandise Area' is officially Mickeyjunk Mountain. I was worried about how they were going to handle the Matterhorn, and I'm overjoyed by the genius decision to turn it into a resting place for old merchandise.

    Small World clock tower.

Hook's Ship is based off of The Wicked Wench, apparently.

    Based on 'The Mad Doctor'

Let's see: we have Mr. Cricket's head (obviously) , and Dumbo's foot. The body looks insanely familiar, but I can't quite place it. Something from Toontown, maybe? Or perhaps Goofy's house from Mickey Mouse Works?

More accurately, Spector and everyone on this thread.

I love you, Warren Spector. So, so much.

By the way, as the game's release date slowly approaches, I'll be slowly distancing myself from this thread and other Epic Mickey-related topics. I don't mind spoiling myself on some aspects of the game, but I still want to discover some things for myself.

    Epic Videos:

Videos | Free online videos and more | Disney

    'Thru The Mirror'

    'The Sorcerer's Apprentice'

    'Sleeping Beauty'

So, apparently, the Film Reel levels aren't limited to Mickey Mouse shorts.

I think this one's based off of the former NOS Disney Gallery.

From this angle, this room reminds me of the Stitch Encounter attraction at HKDL.

First, I noticed that there were other travel maps besides Mickey 'toons when we saw the video inside Hangman's Tree.

Second, I hope so! I love Stitch and putting Space elements from Stitch into Tomorrow City would fit perfectly.

That looks like the trailer from that one Mickey short where he, Donald, and Goofy are living out of it and have to move. I wish I could remember the name of the short, because it's one of my favorites.

Also, there are utilitunnels in Disneyland. They are an underground network of service tunnels used to quickly get from one place to another without the guests seeing you.
