    Disneyland Adventures (Kinect Title)

A French video blog has some footage of a new game for Kinect called Disneyland Adventures. Looks like you can free roam around the park and play mini-games based on the attractions at the park. Like when you go to ride Peter Pan you are flying with Peter Pan through rings and stuff. Looks fun for kids.

Tomorrow is the beginning of E3 so I assume Microsoft will show more of this at their Press Conference. I think Spike TV is showing it live at 9:30am tomorrow morning.

I was watching the E3 coverage that Hulu had and they had kids demoning this game. It looks cute enough from the little bit they showed. However I do not have an Xbox so naturally don't have the Kinect either. We have the Wii and an old PS2. I've been thinking about getting them another system but I guess I'm just going to have to wait and see. It sucks because it seems like to play all the cool games you have to have all 3 systems and that is just ALOT. now waiting for the EA feed to start at 12:30...

This game looks very nice! I don't have an Xbox 360, or the Kinect, but this game I would love to play. First of all, the rendered Disneyland looks amazingly accurate. They got lots of little details right. Also, from what I've heard, they've rendered the entire park, so you could, theoretically explore an exact copy of Disneyland.

The mini-games look fun, and if they have one for every single ride in the park, that would be amazing. The only thing for me, is the disconnect (no pun intended) with the Kinect "controller-free" gameplay. You can hug Mickey, but...you're hugging air. It's just hard not to have a tactile response, especially from something as intimate as a hug. Still, it looks like a lot of attention to detail was put into this game, and that makes me happy. Plus, it give Disneyland some love. They could have easily just made a hodgepodge Disney park with elements from all of them, and called it a day, but it looks like they lovingly recreated Disneyland.
