    World of Warcraft

How many WOW players do we have here? PVP? What Realm?
Just curious as my DS plays it a lot and I help him out when I can. I think the expansion pack is out in February maybe and has a new race to play....Blood Elves. Sounds interesting. I can not believe the value of this game for the hours of entertainment he has had.

I played on the Cenarius server for a while... game got boring though, held my interest less then EQ1 did. I played EQ1 for years... I played WoW for like 2 months, got to level 51, and then totally tired of the game.

That is pretty quick to level. I think DS is lvl 28 and has played for quite some time. I don't think we have tried EQ1.

I think he has characters in Greymane and Dethacus.

I play everquest. There is a lot of younger players there too. I know my new guild has two kids that are in jr. high, and my other guild had a mom that played along with her son. Guess thats what I will get to look forward to when my son gets older, lol.

    Re: World of Warcraft

I am an Evercrack....err....Everquest recovering addict. I was hooked on the PS2 version for a good 2 years. My friend recently got me to play WOW with him. It is a very good game, but like mentioned erlier, its very easy to level up quickley. In EQ it took flippen forever to level up, but in wow, it can be accomplished in less then a month. I also am kinda bored with Wow already. I've only played for like a month too. I think the thing that makes me mad about WOW is that there is too many servers, and the fact that you can't talk to friends if your aliance and they are horde or vice versa. That is the biggest downfall for me.

Also forgot to mention the friggen 15.99 dollar charge per month.. Thats rediculas. EQ was 9.99, and I already hated paying for play games.

Now eq is 14.99, unless you pay for a few months at a time, then I think you save money. I think its worth it- I have two accounts.

Sorry, but it really was a waste of time. Not to mention, even though the world has lost alot of it's brains and dignity, there are still some of us who still think that porn is immoral, offensive, and disguesting!

    Re: World of Warcraft

I play WoW but lately I've been on a VMK kick. I tend to flip flop.

    I've played:

    WoW
    City of Heroes
    Toontown
    VMK
Everquest 1 (This was my first online gaming experience, played it for 5 years. Was there from the beginning, it got so boring. LOL)
    Everquest 2
    Guild Wars

Unfortunately on WoW I'm on so many servers because I need a character for every server I have friends on. My friends, my BF's friends, my coworkers....it never ends! lol

You see that's exactly what I was talking about. WOW has tooo many servers.
Another game that I heard was unbelievably deep and awsome is called Eve. You can check it out at http://www.eve-online.com/
And then another game I have heard is very popular is lineage. The game itself is free by either, free download or free cd (they mail it to you.) They only charge monthll like other MMO'S. Check that out at www.lineage.com
