Wait a minute, the gold ear codes are gone?
I bought a pair of ears in the park last week and asked for a VMK card. I was told at every location that they did not have them. They said they would not be getting any more. This was for both the black and the gold ears.

Ok but what are other codes you get in the park? Like HSM room
- The Animation Desk - DCA - watching the Animation show
- Penny Press - DL/MK - Purchasing candy in certain candy shops
- Wanted Poster - MK - Purchasing an on-ride photo at Buzz Lightyear or Splash Mountain (might be more, but I think it's just those 2)
- Gold Ears - purchasing a hat in one of the main hat stores
There are also In-Park quests for Adventureland, Frontierland, and Fantasyland that you can pick up from the VMK Kiosk and complete. Disneyland also has a special 50th Quest and WDW has a Thrill Seekers Quest. Both locations have their own High School Musical and Tomorrowland Quest. To complete these you need to print out the quests from home before you go. They can be found on the VMK site and most answers are probably listed in a thread or two here on MiceChat, you just might need to do some searching.

Yes, the gold ear codes are discontinued.
I cannot say for a certainty that there will be no more ears since CMs can often be misinformed. I did hit every shop that was supposed to have the VMK cards, however, and was told this several times. I hope to see them again.
Regarding the penny press at candy shops, do you know which ones in Disneyland? (This is gonna make me fat!)
Regarding the wanted poster: the Buzz photos are emailed to you free. Is the card only available at WDW.

Get the penny press at "Pooh's corner" in Critter country next to the exit of the pooh ride.
Wanted posters are WDW exculsive. Buy a splash mountain photo.
