they are pins based on the old pirate quest? Does this mean that they will be introducing more items for real money? The thing is Yavn hasn't said anything about this in the newsletter. How did you find it?

If you go to the official Disney Pin Trading site it's listed on there. I agree it's a weird way to re-release the old stuff, but at least you have the chance of ordering it even if you are not close to the parks and you get a real pin!

Mis padres said that about it too. I will just have to sweettalk them. Either that, or blackmail them...

But it is a cool idea to re-release everything like this. But I think a lot of people won't get it, only because the people who buy these will be the same people who already get the stitch hat from DL, and can do the quests and such.

if you have your own money just get someone over 18 to buy a prepaid credit card and use that online to order it!

Arg, but I don't get my discount when I order online. Maybe I can get jimmybop to get some of these... bah. Not really worth it if the pins aren't too exciting.

Also, I'm not too fond of these boxed pins that give you random pins. I'd rather just buy what I like. They've done this too often recently at DLR and I know many of the local pin traders spend lots of money trying to get certain pins and/or complete the entire set. Me - I'd rather just have what I like, thank you.

I agree here. I am not a pin collector at all but would maybe like to buy just the pins that have the vmk items I want, like the bird hat. But I'm not going to spend all that money to just keep trying to get lucky...

I just hope they don't play games and make one or two of the pins rare. Even distribution is all I ask.
