Did you get my PM?

Well, after four months of trying, I give up on barfownz. Back in November, he offered inferno magic for a set of all three stitch items. We agreed to meet, and he came into my trade room, we opened a trade window and he closed it as soon as he saw my stitch stuff in the trade window. He claimed he got DC'ed, but he never had made another attempt to restart the trade. I thought he was sincere about wanting to make the trade, and I know now that most people with inferno would want more than just a stitch set, but back then, I didn't know any better.

Since November I've made, gotten and saved about a dozen PMs or responses on AIM saying he'd trade right away, and all I get is ignored when the actual time to trade arrives. I've found out why. When he sees a new member offering something great to trade, he goes and secretly tries to see if they really have it. He does this by offering a too good to be true trade offer. In other words, he makes offers he has no intention to carrying out. He admitted this in a PM to my brother regarding a different new member whom he claimed to have caught someone offering stitch or sparrow here on the boards, then in a trade room, not really having it.

I've asked him again and again, if he doesn't plan to trade, just tell me the truth. He continues to say he plans to trade. He just always has an excuse not to do it at that particular time, except for the one time that he said he'd have time to trade if I was interested in a theater set instead of inferno. I have emails and PMs of all of it, so that when I get the inevitable retaliatory bad feedback from him, like he left for Stichers, if you people who worry about what will be my less than 100% feedback want to see it, I'd be happy to share it all so you can trade with me in confidence.

For those of you who made good offers that I didn't consider because I thought I was trading the set for an inferno pin, I apologize. I've been strung along for four months, too.

Barfownz, next time you want to find out if someone is scamming, pick a different method.

I still have a full set of stitch for trade if anyone is interested, especially if they have inferno.
