I think is why I stick with Frank Sinatra. Classy and enjoyable over and over, day after day.

Why do I always see "emo" music and either say, "E" "M" "O" instead of "e-mo" or say "Elmo"?

What an interesting title for a genre of music if you ask me...

Quite interesting actually. I prefer Frank Sinatra over the emo music. But then again, I've heard "emo" classifies as anything from above said My Chemical Romance to such music lyrics as "I cry late into the dark cutting myself" All "emo" really is is "emotional" music.

I think most music is emotional music.

Out of the tree of life, I just picked me a plum
You came along and everything started to hum
Still its a real good bet, the best is yet to come...

Now that's emo if you ask me.

Yeah, and depending on who you talk to, it probably would be. But then again, emo is also classified as the goth look, slit wrists, black makeup, no sleep, a hatred for everything, and a sadness at the world. But it's not a real, set genre like Rock, or Pop, or Jazz. It's one of those made up ones like metal.

I love that song; we used it for a dance once in practice.

Here is a list of some musical artists/ bands I like (not in a specific order):

    Black Eyed Peas
    Gwen Stefani
    Natasha Bedingfield
    Fall out Boy
    Panic! At The Disco
Maroon 5 (Although, the guys in the band are really strange and too skinny.)
    Kelly Clarkson
    Nelly Furtado
    Ashley Simpson
    Jessica Simpson
Simple Plan (They have some good songs)
    Nickelback

Also, (this isn't recent) I like the song "Hotel California" by the Eagles. My mother use to listen to it a lot, and it stuck. It is rumored that "Hotel California" is based on the famed Camarillo State Mental Hospital.
It was built in the small, coastal town of Camarillo, California in 1936. As one can imagine it didn't have a very friendly atmosphere at first, but in the mid-1970's it'spolicies were changed at patients were actyually taught skills they needed and did not suffer the previous, abhorrent treatments; even a petting zoo was added for developmentally challenged children. However, near the end of Reagan's administration, the president issued the new legislative mandate of deinstitutionalization. By 1997, the Camarillo State Mental Hospital closed. After some renovations from 2000-2002, it has opened as California State University-Channel Islands.
There are many rumors and testimonies of hauntings. If you would like to find out for yourself, here is the address:
    California State University-Channel Islands
One University Drive, Camarillo CA 93012
