A few questions about VMK

Hi! i have some questions i am not sure of yet. if anyone can help me that would be great.

1. What do the abbreviations rofl and btw mean? (corny question)

2. is unchecking the box that says "Turn Trade Requests off" the same as stopping ppl form asking to trade? if not, where to u do it?

3.When i use my friends list to go somewhere for the first time, it keeps that mystery music in the backround. is this supposed to happen?

yup, no one will be able to send you trade requests.

2. Yes its the same thing as not allowing anyone to ask you to trade. Im not sure where.
3. Yes it happens, i dont know if its supposed to. But it gets annoying.

In regards to the sound thing...it's a bug. The best way to solve that is to go to a room (public or guest) first then use your friends list.

Some individuals will still trade. I often say that I am looking to trade for things in my signature, but I will turn it off when I am playing games or quests. But if someone talks to me, I usually turn it back on. This can be done by using the new control button on the VMK toolbar. For more information see The VMK Toolbar - FAQ.

2.Same here. Just ignore it, I turn it off and when I play fireworks I put it on because it blocks it out.

Go to the animation studio building in the Hollywood Backlot. When you enter, head to your left and there'll be a drawing class type thing. That's where they have them.
