Space Mountain: From the Earth to the Moon!

Hi everyone, recently I've been working on a SM ride, and here for you viewers is a taster of what is coming.

The ride will be a rethought ride of the original Parisian ride, with all new story and a distinctly victorian theme!

The ride is based upon the book by Jules Verne and the old DLP ride, but with major differences, which you'll all see. The whole ride is nearly finished, but these are tasters .

The ride is set in 1898, on the remote volcanic island, Discovery Island. Here in secret the founders of science fiction have toiled on reaching the moon. In the end, a huge cannon has been built to launch them to the moon and back. However, the journey will not be an ordinary one....

Face comets, the malfunctioning Crescent Moon satelite, almighty asteriod fields and errr...technical difficulties on your journey.

I didn't know you could imbed videos into the actual post. Monorail Man is the one to ask as he beta tested RCT3 and it's expansion packs for Atari before they came out and knows more about these games than most do.

Also, remember that trick about getting rid of the icons on screen? It really helps when you are doing long shots of the stations. Just find any guest in the Park and rename him David Walsh and press Enter. The just press CTL U at any time and all the screen icons and menues will disappear. Press CTU U again and they come back. You have to do this everytime you reload the game as once the game is ended and you leave, then everything like renaming guests has no effect anymore. If you come back, then use the guest list to find David Walsh, rename him David W and then re rename him again to David Walsh and you are good to go.

Looks good. I just watched it and the actual ride is really cool. I like all the special effects you put in. I guess you didn't want redo the station scenes with the icons and menues hidden, but that's ok. I like the whole presentation.

OK, that is pretty darn cool. I like it. I know what Movie Maker is but what is Picture It, and what does it do?

Picture it is a photo editing program that I used to create the sepia tone credits at the beginning, and to remove the buttons on my screenshots.

I thought that Movie Maker could also ad the old fashioned Sepia tone and stuff too. Oh well, whatever you used it came out great.
