    Favorite Videogame Genre

I am a big fan of Action/Adenture games. I loved God of War, Onimusha, and Devil May Cry. I really enjoy the RPG genre as well but I have only played games made by Square. Racing is also a favorite. What about you?

RPGs all the way... Final Fantasy I-X (i'm pretending XI didnt really happen), Dragon Quest (or Dragon Warrior as its known here in the States), Legend of Legia, The Chrono Series, Legend of the Dragoon, etc...

I'm also a fan of the more strategy style games... Civ, Sim City, Final Fantasy Tactics, etc....

Tekken is the only fighting game i will play! Preferably tag tournament.

hard question to ask I tend to move back and forth on exactly what I want as far as genre's go

probably why I keep shifting back and forth from being a Nintendo fan to being a sony fan to being a nintendo fan to being a sony fan (microsoft has created to many sins for me to ever forgive them I won't be using windows when I build my next computer)

I'd say for right now I like action/platformers been kinda dissapointed in the amount of "good" platformers we've had this generation though nothings really got my interest just yet

now if you were to ask me what my favorate publishers were I'd say

Nintendo - Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart, Smash Bros

Capcom - Megaman *almost every concievable series*, Devil may Cry

SquareEnix - Chrono Trigger/Cross, Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals *it's fun but hard to actualy get four GBA owning friends over it'll probably be better when it's an online game next gen*

    Namco - Soul Caliber, Tekken

there are a few others (I'd vote for sega but they're not doing great with sonic these days and I have yet to try any of their Jet Set games) but that covers most of the franchises I'm interested in

so yeah for now Platformers and Adventure win out (I was an RPG fan for a while but that was last generation)

I voted action/adventure although I'm not sure if that's accurate. My favorite game of all time is Earthbound, but then again my other top two choices are Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Super Metroid. The SNES was the best console ever!

Such a tough one to answer. I like many types of games. Not sure I have a favorite, but I went with Platformer since I think I've played the most of those.

    Likes:
    Platformer

    Puzzle
    Simulation
    Racing
    ElectroPlankton (it's own genre)
    Wario Ware (it's own genre)

    Dislikes:
    RPG
    FPS

What if the Hokey-Pokey really is what it's all about?

Mario Kart 64 was the only reason i bought N64.... Starfox became the second reason when it came out....
