    Hollow mountains?

I seem to remember reading that you could make the mountains hollow, does anyone know how to do this?
Also, is there anyway to change the background image which in sandbox mode is always set to the same background?
And another thing, i keep seeing parks with different colored lights placed throughout, are these available in the game?
    Thanks.

    Re: Hollow mountains?

I believe that you either have to have Soaked or the patches that are at the top of this board for Soaked and Wild special effects with no rides but some extra animals like sharks, rays, fish and seagulls. I have never heard about making a hollow mountain though.

The strings of lights are from Vodin's Light Pak which is on the Atari Forms for RCT3 Custom Scenery along with tons of other custom things for RCT3. Some will work with the standard games and others require that either or both Soaked and Wild also be installed.

I don't think you can make the mountains actually hollow. But you can build rides in them anyway. I do this all the time. I simulate show buildings by raising the land up, then I build a ride inside and theme the outside of the building to "Hide" it, just like they do at Disneyland.

i have both soaked and wild, but when building inside mountains i would like more of a irregular cave look instead of the square tunnel shape..

To do that you would have to drop rocks and stones below surface level and into the tunnel. It can be done, but it is very difficult.

It might be simpler to create a "building" themed like a cave in the inside, save it and import it back a a structure - then moving it into the mountain or ground. Then you build your track or paths through the "building".

I made a set of very (in my opinion) versatile rockwork walls. People use them all the time to make exactly what you're describing.
