I am shocked at Peter Pan Ride! No Tink!

I finally got to ride the new dark rides today and was really looking forward to the Peter Pan Ride. It is one of my favorite rides at Disneyland because my favorite character is in it. Imagine my surprise when I find out that there is no Tinkerbell to be found on the ride. I rode it a few times because I just couldn't believe it. They put in the mermaids, but no Tink? I don't want to sound ingrateful because I think the addition of the dark rides is cool. But how can you have a Peter Pan ride without Tinkerbell? I am so shocked, I am actually thinking of emailing them.

If anyone else is upset about Tink not being on Peter Pan, I suggest you write too. If they get enough response, maybe she will magically appear!!!!

Yes she does, but not only that, her pixie dust is the whole reason that the Darling children fly...not to mention all the "I do believe in Faeries" and all that.

Good. Tink shouldn't be as included as she is (she's on every peice of freakin merchandise). She's not a huge part in the movie or book, in fact in the book there's nothing to like about her..

Her not being there is like having a pinnochio ride without the Blue Faerie or sleeping beauty without the Faerie Godmothers. I am even sadder now, as I thought, of all places, most of you would share in my grief.

She's in the real ride at Disneyland like once.. so I don't see the big "Tragedy."

Anyways, have you even read the Peter Pan book? You might not like her so much in it.

Yes I have read it. Yes, she is a jealous mischevious faerie. Barrie (the author) made her a part of the story to show female archetypes in the extremes. She is a big part of the story.

The "Tragedy" is that Tink apparently has made quite an impression on thousands of Disney fans, otherwise she would not have been brought "out" of the attraction and made into such an Icon. Growing up, as I watched the wonderful world of Disney on TV, she was the first thing you saw as she flew around the castle sprinkling her dust. I don't see how VMK can ignore her presence in the ride that brought out her inception to being integrated into Disney iconic history.

She is in the ride at the battle scene. Nevermind. Obviously, no one here misses her like I do. So just forget about it.

I just can't believe that the fact she sprung out of, what seems to be virtual obscurity according to some of you, to one of the major icons of Disney, that she is not getting the respect she deserves by at least making an appearance over the mermaids in the pan ride in VMK. I guess very few see my point so forget I even said anything.
