I believe that it is very possible they will allow them to be tradeable once the month is over.

Again, that's just my thought and what I would do...but this is VMK after all...very likely there's absolutely no coherent reason why they aren't tradeable.

That's what I wanted to say but couldn't word it right! Thank you both!

I for one have had an awesome time these past few nights! It has been so much fun hanging out with everyone talking, singing, dancing, and telling (bad) jokes!

If anything this promotion brought us all back out to hang with each other. I for one have made many new friends over the past few days, and hung with people I haven't gotten to in a long time! And of course there's the usual stocking, and being stocked

I am liking the promotion more now, and am looking forward to a funfilled month!

But isn't the fact that the items being nontradeable make the items impossible for the people who want them? What if you are given an item you don't want but you know someone else does want them? How are you going to give it to them if they are not tradeable?

And furthermore, if they do become tradeable, how would you know when that happens? The Kelloggs Magic became tradeable again, but after when is anyone's guess because there was no formal announcement behind it. It just kind of happened.

I understand about the whole feeling of being scammed the moment an item becomes "common," but how is making something nontradeable become "common" if you can't even place a tradeable value on it. That's why, as much as I love my Pirate Prison Room and Haunted Mansion Conservatory Room, most of things I own that I can't trade are worthless. The only reason I seek them out is because they have a high appeal to me. Right now, the Dream Room has that high appeal. (In fact, it's the only item in the last five months that has generated said high appeal.)

That said about how nontradeable items are pretty much worthless, I can't help but wonder why people think it is more fair to make those items nontradeable to the people who want to get rid of them. I mean, what if I get stuck with a Dream Pin, an item I so do not want ever, and they don't make it tradeable ever. Meanwhile, little miss new person over there wants to have something cool, and I can't give that person the pin that everyone but myself likes. I did this last night with my spare Herbie Suit to a user who was just looking for the shoes. Gave him the whole suit for nothing but a Mickey TV. Why? Because I didn't care about my spare suit. Having one is enough for me, and I'm not going to do like some users I've come across and hoard all the Gold Snowmen I can find. (No offence.)

I guess I'll never understand why making items nontradeable is better than trading items. The logic just doesn't seem to make sense to me here.

Finally, not everyone has a chance. There are some users who cannot get on VMK during the whole Dream Squad time for one reason or another. And then there are some who can only get on when the Dream Squad is not even on during their prize shifts. Some people have real life obligations despite the fact they want to play and obtain some stuff in a game they find cool.

This whole promotion has me upset. Every time I play the game, the moment I start talking to a user, I get very angry over this whole Dream thing. It makes me wish this month was over so I can just find out if they will ever release the room in a quest or not. That's all I want out of this month seeing how all my "friends" pretty much put me in the corner for complaining the last three days about how VMK is handling the situation.

But now I'm ranting, so I'll shut up now like I should have done five paragraphs ago.

    Re: ~Unfair~

The BIG deal is this; staff are randomly giving but its mostly going to be the leaders (( sorry dragon and any other leaders but its true )) and ppl with LOTS of rare. Basically the same ppl i saw Mr.GeneGene with ALOT of stuff and he is already rich, i mean if they are going to do this at least make it fair to where ppl can only win once a day bc some ppl win like 5 times a day and its not fair to those of us, who looked ALL day and got nothing! Personally i was on Vmk all day not looking for dream squad just doing random stuff and still NOTHING! this is a luck/chance game and those of us who are unlucky suffer. thats just my opinion but i think it might be alot of others too.

    Re: ~Unfair~

^If that was really the case, I should have gotten my room already. Some people consider me rich simply because of the fact that I own a 16 room teleporter maze, a Haunted Mansion Conservatory room, and about three (going on four) rides! Not to meantion the two quest kiosks I have sitting in my network of rooms.

I was in a trading room and some guy said they were going to sell them but I think it's just a rumor going around.

    The Dream Counter is fake.

You know that Dream Counter on the home page that goes up by 150 a day so far?

Well, I have officially come to the conclusion that it is indeed a fake. It goes up by 150 per day as soon as VMK opens and stops as soon as VMK closes.

How have I come to this conclusion? The "Dream Squad" time isn't until extremely late in the evening today, with the bulk of the day devoted to the Room Makeover. Yet the counter went up by about 7 or 8 since VMK opened an hour ago.

Now, unless they are breaking their own "rule" and distributing prizes when they are not advertised that they are, I have no choice but to believe that counter is a big fake.

Opinions? Observations? Want to call me a liar like the rest of the world?

I think it's fake for the very same reasons you do but I think they might be breaking the rule and distrubuting prizes very randomly and giving out very few.

Re: The Dream Counter is fake.

They have been giving prizes when the time is past the event time on the calendar - my bet is that they are giving prizes all day. On the first day, I am aware of at least four rooms full of people that got prizes, that's about 60 people, plus the individuals who got the room. I counted 8 different people that had castle suite rooms show up on the popular rooms list - and that was just when I was looking. I am sure that they easily gave out 150 prizes that day.

I doubt if they will be for sale, but the shirts are one of the dream items that are tradeable. In fact, i got two now.
