Sony Japan has released the 2.0 upgrade for Japanese PSP users. As some of you know, one of the features of the upgrade is an official web browser, allowing you to access the internet through wireless connections.
A Japanese user has discovered that you can use a Gmail account as a way to store up to 2GB of information.
What does that mean? Well you can store movies, game saves, photos, magazines, and anything else you want to use on your psp on your Gmail account, and then access them from your PSP. Pretty cool.
The U.S. version of the 2.0 upgrade will be released sometime next week however. Supposedly, the U.S. version will be a sort of 2.1. in that it will remedy whatever problems that may come up in the Japanese upgrade.
