Re: Pirates of the Burning Sea

I downloaded it got the Beta key and then they said the key expired...... now there are no more...... I have been burnt by SOE many times (Star wars Galaxies) so I wanted to try the beta because I am not going to pay money for something that might end up not being that good........
So until they have a free trial it will be WOW for me

the best thing to look forward to is that this has NOTHING to do with SOE outside of distributing the game.

all development stuff is being done by Flying Lab Studios. The beta was excellent and im thouroughly looking forward to finishing the game

Whats the difference between this and the Pirates Online from Disney. I haven't played it and just found out about this, but from previous experience (KH excluding) I've felt that most Disney games are often very lacking...

Re: Pirates of the Burning Sea

the very fact this is a true MMO and not something thrown together to cash in on the movies.

There's a complex combat system with 3 different types of fightint to choose from as well as ship to ship pvp and over 50 types of ships to choose from with more to be announced (even player designed ones)

Also there is a true sense of war going on since there are 4 factions to choose from (Pirates, British, Spanish and French - guess who everyone chooses...)
