Hey kids, so who has it yet?

I played it for like 3 hours tonite (purchased the game and an extra wheel). It is SO SO SO SO SO SO SO fun!!! And the online component is fantastic.

I can add you to friends list if you want to play me. I totally suck right now so you'll totally rack up points

Is there any reason why I should NOT just post my Wii and/or Mario Kart numbers out on the web? I mean... it's not like anyone can do anything if I don't enter their number into my system....

I'll gladly add you (and any other MCers) to my Mario Kart friends list.
I've yet to play against anyone outside of Europe (and I'll probably be in bed when it's prime playing time in the US!), but it is a great game.
The online service works brilliantly.

Donkey, Diddy and even Funky Kong are all present (although I've yet to unlock Funky - way too hard!)
A great bonus is being able to play as your Mii - even if you do end up with Mario's body-shape...

Love it. Don't have online capability though. I love my Wii-wheel, I want a horn though. Thought I would be angry and be totally against how they changed battlemode (completely team based now), and though I wish they had the option to keep the original.. this is awesome to.
I also love the mix of old and new courses.

I think it's so cool how they include the Wii Wheel. I really want to play this game. It looks fun.

Also, at first I was kind of upset that there are only 12 "New" tracks, and 12 previous tracks. But they have all been upgraded and they look AMAZING. They really are like all new tracks.

I need to enter your Mario Kart code too! The Friend Codes for the Wii and the friend codes for Mario Kart (and Super Smash Bros, for that matter) are all completely different. You can send me a message from the Mario Kart channel if you install it (or just PM it to me, lol)

Though I'm not going to be home till late tonight (after 10:30...). How bout wednesday?

Finished the races on 50cc last night. Opened up a few more characters and a couple of new cars. So far my favorite character is Koopa Troopa.

Most of the tracks are cool, I REALLY like all of the new ones. There are 2 of the older tracks I don't care for. I forget what their names are, but I think they are from either the SNES or GBA version. They are too simplistic.

I also tried the Ghost Race last night, it was pretty cool. I guess people from around the world go on and do a track then you have to beat their time.
