Did anybody watch House last night???!!!!

I can't belive that Kutner killed himself!!! Wow, that was abrupt and totally didn't see it coming. I guess that Kal Penn is going to work for President Obama and asked to be written off the show. I liked his character - the episode was such a bummer.

OMG..I did..what a shock...of all the house characters to leave it was him. I couldn't believe it. I will miss his character. Do you know the reason why he killed himself? I was doing homework and I wasn't concintrating all that much on the storyline.

No reason was given. That's what all the characters were trying to figure out. House even said it wasn't suicide but murder (though that was not true)because he couldn't face the fact that he did not see this coming. He left no note. The only hint we get that Kutner was unhappy was a photo that House finds at the end of the show showing Kutner sitting and looking unhappy and far away.

I liked this character. I thought he was fun and so for him to be portrayed as suicidal all this time is kind of abrupt. I liked at the end how they gave a service announcement with phone numbers for people to call who may be contemplating this.

I have to say that the online memorial Fox set up for Kutner is beyond stupid!! It's a frigging character on a TV show!!

When I first saw the episode, I couldn't figure out why Kal Penn was leaving - I figured maybe he died in real life or something serious had happened. But, I really hope that he has a good time in Washington - I'm going to miss his character a lot.

That's what I thought too, especially when they were talking about the online memorial and then the suicide message at the end of the show. I hadn't heard anything beforehand about him leaving, so it really caught me by surprise.
