hmm, i wonder if i'm in the minority that isn't a big fan of Todd Packer's character..
as far as Darryl having an office upstairs now, i hope that lasts for a while.. i love the subtle humor he adds to the show!!

i just re-watched "Goodbye Toby" from the end of season 4.. which is the same episode we were introduced to Holly.
i REALLY wish they'd bring her back! her relationship with Michael (and her run on the show), was wayy too short! the scenes that they shared were like instant classics to me! and much more sincere than anything Erin and Andy have to offer.
another character i miss is David Wallace.. after a few episodes with Kathy Bates playing the new CFO of Dunder Mifflin/"Sahh-Bray".. it really confirmed how much i want David Wallace back..

As I talked about before, this whole selling thing really ruined a few good plot lines. Firstly, the other branches were great to play off of. Also, those other characters will all but disappear now. Lastly, lessening, the Dunder Mifflin brand as an "owned by" company is very interesting seeing as it was such a logo for the show before.
A little late, but I just saw last week's episode.
Ep. 19: New Leads
SpoilerPhyllis: "Finally Michael, hand them (the leads) over numb-nuts." What?!? Way too over-the-top for Phyllis. I hated this episode. The only good thing was Michael standing up to the all-of-a-sudden arrogant sales team. And that seemed to be wasted cause they never really give up their 2% commission. The only funny part was Dwight choking Kevin.
Lastly, why were Andy and Erin at the dump? That seemed so out of place for the "first kiss" between the two. Overall, this episode stunk!

Ep. 20: Happy Hour
SpoilerStanley giving his all at push ups to get the rest of the day off. Felt sorry for Michael bc he was actually charming before Jim told him he was on setup. Then he became all...Michael again. But he managed to find someone else. Overall, there was a little too much going on. You've got Oscar, Michael, Angela, Dwight, Andy and Erin all in love storylines. It just felt like the writers were trying to pack as much stuff into this episode as possible. I would really like the show to focus more on Daryl and his transistion from downstairs to the office. And what the heck is going on with Ryan. I didn't even know Ryan and Kelly got back together.

Ep. 21: Secretary's Day
Andy should've known that Michael would mess up the lunch with Erin somehow. Shame on Andy...tsk tsk. And I never noticed the Cookie Monster/ Kevin conection before tonight. Jim's impression was the best BTW. That's all I've got for this week.
Kevin and Dwight's impression of Gabe in the end was funny.
Home away from Home.
this is one of the better episodes i've seen in a LONG time!

I think I missed an ep... but why did Gabe stay behind? I thought he was Kathy Bates assistant? Is he a boos now? What was the reasoning for him to stay there?
No words, My tears won't make any room for more,
And it don't hurt, like anything I've ever felt before, this is
No broken heart,
No familiar scars,
This territory goes uncharted...
I thought the exact same time when I was watching. Couldn't remember him staying behind for any reason.
Home away from Home.
He specifically said in this episode that
SpoilerSome people think he's still the IT guy.which makes me believe he isn't that person anymore.
Ep. 22: Body Language
SpoilerAnytime you have a storyline that has to with Michael's love life, you're almost guranteed an akward moment or two, or three. I guess it ended up fine for him at the end though.
Best line!
Stanley: Dwight, I know these programs. Every color is important, because together, we make a rainbow.
Dwight: Yes
Stanley: I'll slap you in the face with a rainbow.
