I go with Simon! Except for when the audition shows for Idol roll around. I will watch Idol for that.
Agreed... Paula leaving the show is bad, but Simon leaving is the death blow. It is too bad, because my whole family so looks forward to American Idol every year. Hopefully The X Factor will be a good replacement...
Simon has got a strong following. I think they will follow him to X-Factor.
i could care less about Paula, she always reminds me of the junkies we see in the ER every night..
however, i adore Simon, the show will not be the same without him..i do like Piers Morgan, but he's no Simon

What baffles me is that they want to do the X Factor US in the fall at the same time as X Factor UK.
Guess Simon, Bruno Toniolli and Len Goodman are going to get quite pally on those transcontinental flights.
What did everybody think of the first show? Honestly, I was kind of meh' about the whole thing. Victoria Beckham didn't add ANYTHING to the show as guest judge, and my Gawd is she skinny. Ick.
There were a few good singers, some interesting stories, some bad singers, but nothing that really stood out.
Let's hope Atlanta is better tonight. I'm sure Mary J. Blige will be a better guest judge.

I didn't catch it last night so I am watching it on YouTube right now. The girl who sang on the game thought she could do good?
The singers that really stood out on the first night were that 16 year old girl and that guy that had cancer. All the others were just good or okay. The second night the only singer that stood out was that church boy all the others were okay.
