Good morning, son
In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
It was pain
Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
This thread isn't that early at all. Isn't the show set to premiere this Sunday, February 14th? As with every other season, I'll definitely be tuning in Jeff and Jordan are just icing on the cake for me.
oh ok cool, cause when i made the bachelor thread i thought that was right on time, so now i thought i was being a little too early still very excited, but i feel bad for having to cut my date a little short just to watch it hahahaha, luckily my bf knows me well so we're just starting early lol

Watched it, loved it, going to mark my world map later. Best quote of the night: "Big dog's gotta roar!" My 6 yo & I were laughing, and trying to come up with as many animals we could think of that actually roar. None of them were dogs...
Jeff and Jordon woot! Ok, I guess some of the contestants haven't learned by now that you need to read instructions thoroughly or else a penalty will take place. he he Oh and don't lose items along the way of your race. And Caite, sorry, technically you came in 7th place because of your teams screw up. And did anyone catch her saying " danke"?
I'm loving this race so far and really felt bad for the guy, high school sweetheart team who couldn't make it across the cable wire which cost them elimination.
It was good so far. Love Jeff and Jordan. His eyes, OMG wow.
I was sad for the guy who didn't make it across, he tried hard and his wife was quite supportive of him. We thought there was a huge gap in the first set of teams on the wire and the rest of them, but watching the team sit out their 30 minute penalty and so many coming in during it was surprising. They did get lost for quite awhile but the editing made it seem like they were much further ahead.

The season premier was nice, gotta hand it to the Highschool sweetheart who tried what he could to get through. At least he attempted it unlike the girl from last season who couldn't go down a waterslide.
Once again, the show proves it's certainly unpredictable due to the contestants. Let's see now, buying Brazilian money, not reading the rules (which led to a big drop in the ranks.), painting the inside of a house where the people inside had no clue why the racers were there. Finally, the Danke...yep, it's the race we all know and love.
Disney and Universal fan for life!...Shocking ain't it?
Seize the future with X-S! Not Stitch.
I'm not crazy, now if you will excuse me I have tea time with the ghosts at Haunted Mansion.
Still, Jordan in 1st place (well, along with Jeff...
But a VERY Good and exciting first episode, here is hoping that the rest of the series will be as good, and based on the mix of the teams, should be good...
But there is one issue I don't like, as shown in the highlights for Episode 2 shown last night.
FIRST COME, First Serve, no holding spaces for other teams. Some of the official events have that rule, such as having to grab a "number" off the board, or place your teams name on a list, such as the FIRST three teams get on the early bus, the second set get on the middle bus, and the later comers get the last bus. But the Amazing Race tends to allow teams to hold spaces in certain parts of the race.
It was like the "waterfall" issue last year, the team that was there was advised another team is waiting, and if you don't go down within a certain period (somewhere between 5 to 15 minutes), you have to move aside and let the next team waiting to pass you.
That said, sharing information, or strategy, does seem like part of the game, such as letting your "partner" teams which window to go to to buy tickets, which pathway, a smart way to solve the current challenge. Those are part of the game.
But NO Cutting in Line!
