An interesting career and an interesting guy. Old movie buffs will always remember him for his role in Ronald Colman's 'Champagne For Caesar,' while others my age will remember many mornings in bed with the flu watching 'House Party.'

RIP Art - a self made man and another one of the dwindling greatest generation to pass.

Let's remember him from "Disneyland Opening Day", with Art Linkletter:

Art Linkletter dies -- Will Disneyland Remember?

The Associated Press: TV's 'People Are Funny' host Art Linkletter dies

    Shocked this wasn't reported yet.

Art Linkletter passed away today (this morning I believe) due to nature causes. He was 97.

Art is definitely a part of Disneyland History.
He was one of the hosts of the opening day ceremonies at Disneyland.

I know he hasn't done anything big since then,
but do you think Disneyland will do something?

After all, opening day was a big part of D-land's history.

several people started topics yesterday, and most were merged.

Dustysage also started a topic that pointed to D23's write up

AND Sue Kruse mentioned Art's passing in her article at MiceAge, today.

Very sad. I'm watching some of the Opening Day footage right now.
