Re: Is Survivor suffering at the ratings?

There is simply no one interesting in the older tribe. The younger tribe is one of the more boring ones too... except for that moron naya who just deserves a kick to the face so she'd shut up. Contrary to her statement... she is ghetto. She just covers it up.

The early tribe shuffle this week may breathe some life into it.. but I'm already bored with this season because I really can't stand any of the people. Not a great casting job this time IMO.

At least they made the hidden idol less obvious... thank you Russell!

She only thinks she's covering it. Gah. I get half a dozen texts from my Mom during the show, mostly about how awful that girl is...

I'm used to the jury making bad decisions. I'm also used to someone in camp stealing something to piss someone else off etc. I'm not used to seeing someone blatantly steal food, later admit to it, then get off scott free at tribal council... I've heard of bad decisions but... wow...

Yeah, it's quite something. I guess that ultimately, alliances trump all other concerns.

Sash is the player to beat at this point. He convinced everyone to allow him to maintain his promise to Marty, by voting out Alina instead. Smart of Sash, realizing what Russell didn't, that how you treat people is as important as actually making it to the end, but not so smart of everyone else.

It's a good season thus far.

I have seen some INCREDIBLY stupid things on Survivor over the years but this episode wins...

It started raining. They built the fire up as much as they could. Then they surrounded the fire with 3 wooden chests and put planks stretching from one chest, over the fire, to the chest on the other side. Once their "wind break" was complete they all marched off to do a challenge... raging fire, wooden wind break what could possibly go wrong? Congrats on being the first tribe to burn down the camp out of sheer stupidity! I cried when some of the contestants openly said "I can't believe that happened, how did that happen?" destroyed the majority of the food, destroyed all of the equipment, destroyed half the hut and melted most of the tarp. The machetes are just blades. I should feel bad for them but I can't stop laughing...
