    The Walking Dead

Did anybody else catch the premiere of The Walking Dead on AMC? It's was absolutely fantastic. It's got some great acting with some great characters/storylines ... oh and of course, the icing of the cake there are Zombies EVERYWHERE.

Don't go in thinking this is just some brainless show about Zombies, it's not. It's a really great show. Check it out if you get the chance.

I saw it, DVR it and watched it again. I thought it was great and is just going to get better. The graphic novel is awesome and by what I hear they are going to keep true to that so that should really make it good.

It finally came up on Comcast On Demand so I got to see it. It is a great show and I am looking forward to more. My mother even watched it. Of course the alternative was election results, so I do not blame her. lol

It is VERY close to comic. So close in fact that I recommend reading the comics first just because it makes the show even better. When watching the show you find yourself thinking this is exactly how I envisioned a live action version!

I thought this show was great. Not to mention that the zombies are by far the best/most realistic looking zombies i've ever seen. That one that was crawling on the grass, during the beginning and end of the show. WOW, I am still wondering how they did that. Can't wait for next weeks.

^ I watched some of the behind the scenes stuff on AMC and it was CGI.

It's amazing all of the effects and work they put into the show, AMC really knows what they are doing. Sad that the networks don't have the same kind of faith in their shows and cancel shows like Flashforward with no kind of proper ending.

It was endlessly awesome and loved it from start to finish..the story in the comics gets very dark and even more bloody, am interested to see how much of it translates to the TV medium. I am hopeful though given the first episode...

So episode 2 didn't disappoint. The only thing I'm kind of unsure about is the "wife" and what's going on with her and the husbands partner. I understand that this pretty much follows the storyline of the comic.

Makes me wonder if they had something going on prior to the Zombie Apocalypse.

    Re: The Walking Dead

I saw the first episode and I have to admit that I wasn't hooked. I know that you shouldn't judge a show solely on the first episode, but I don't have any desire to continue watching it. I'm personally extremely tired of the scenario of the entire world being wiped out or consumed by a zombie/mutation virus and it's just a group of people left to defend themselves. It's not my cup of tea. Next!

So what did everybody think of Episode 3? Some clarification on the relationship between the wife and the partner, looks like he lied his *** off about the partner dying. Some friend.
