Something is up with Jefferson/Mad Hatter, because...

Regina doesn't seem to remember who he is since the curse was broken. (Saying "who?" when Emma mentioned Jefferson, and saying that she's "long since forgotten" where she got the hat). They haven't explained yet how he wound up in our world from Wonderland, though I think they will. Sort of like how they didn't explain right away that Pinnochio was put in the wardrobe with Emma.

I suspect that Regina's mother might be the Queen of Hearts, because her name is Cora (as in corazon), there's a heart on her spellbook, and she was banished into the mirror, but they haven't explained yet how she got back to the Enchanted Forest. Then again, I thought Graham was the Big Bad Wolf, and he turned out to be The Huntsman, so this could be another red herring.

I also suspect that Sleeping Beauty's kingdom might have been preserved because of Maleficent, who is probably more powerful than Regina suspects.

In the Season Premiere - I can understand Emma being upset after all those years, but it didn't make any sense when she said they shouldn't have put her in the tree, because "they could have been together." Regina went out of her way to tear families apart! Why would she have let Snow have her daughter? Also, Emma would have been frozen in time forever as a baby if she wasn't there to start time as an un-cursed adult.

Also, we didn't see much of Sleeping Beauty and Mulan but whining and bickering.

I thought episode two showed a lot more promise, and they sure know how to do those twist endings! I did not see Cora showing up in there with Emma and Snow coming at all!

^^I think Emma's reaction was overwhelmed. She fought a dragon, thought her son died, a purple haze hit the town and comes to the conclusion that her parents are storybook characters. Hard to swallow for her. Emma is a character who wants people in her life. So, she can't but help feel abandoned due to the fact that she wasn't raised with her parents.

Regarding this week's episode, "The Doctor":

Just last week I read an article in a local paper on the history of horror movies that made me realize who Dr. Whale was (and I was right). It mentioned that the director of the 1930's Frankestein movies was James Whale.

I just remembered they had Dr. Whale leading an angry mob in the first episode of the season - LOL, very ironic and clever.

(BTW, you've gotta love Disney cross promotion - Frankenweenie, now in theaters!)

Also, Mulan was much less annoying this week. Probably because she barely spoke. But I still wonder when they're going to develop her and poor waifish attempted murderess Aurora more. Maybe once they're back in Storybrooke, Aurora will try to get Dr. Whale to bring Philip back to life.

And it was nice to see Emma being compotent again. A couple episodes ago, they had her look around at the castle and comment on how her parents gave up everything for her. (They were all being cursed into our world anyway! They didn't give it up for her!)

I didn't get that Dr. Whale was Victor Frankenstein until just before Rumple said "Victor". Blegh..losing my touch. But it was timed perfectly with Frankenweenie out and for Halloween. That was a storyline I really wasn't expecting.

Still waiting to see an Ariel introduction...maybe some Ursula?

I am just finishing Season 1 and in love with this show! I love the backstories and takes on the stories. So good!

And it hasn't been shown again since the first episode of Season 2 but who was that guy in New York who got the Storybrooke postcard from the bird that said "broken"

Who was he?! I'm thinking either the March Hare or White Rabbit only because on the wall in his apartment was a sign that read "cleaners and hatters".... Hatter like the Mad Hatter.

Just a guess.

To Clara, Spoilers

The Little Mermaid's and Aladdin's storylines were put on hold. I wouldn't be surprised if they wrote Ursula out of the story, since back in season 1, it was hinted that Regina and Rumplestilken were both involved with Ariel(Regina to Rumplestilken: We have a promblem with a certain mermaid) .

The Mystery Man is actual going to pop back in the next episode: Tallahasse, which deals with Emma's past. Henry's dad?

I'm wondering if Neal is Bae. It would really make for some good drama if Henry's other grandpa was Rumple.

There are few things that need to be pointed out, so far this season:
1. For some reason Snow and Charming have two different weddings(Pilot wedding,(indoors with many guests) and The Lady of the Lake wedding(small, elopement type of marriage and outside). Is the Lady of the Lake's wedding secretly not official? Renewing their vows in the pilot/getting other people a chance to watch? Or did Snow and Charming...seperate and remarry in a Mike and Susan style???
2. I am not sure if Neal is Henry's dad, but it IS plausible (Mythbusters reference) for him to be Henry's dad.
3.Based on the casting and episode 9 title, (WARNING HUGE POSSIBLE SPOILER)

The episode "Queen of Hearts", seems very likely that Cora is the Queen of hearts.

Meh, another slow episode.

Honestly, I'm tired of Red's storyline. I was bored with it when it first came to play. And the fact that they devoted a whole episode on how she found her "wolf pack" meh...mediocre. It is my least favorite storyline in the series. But that is just my opinion.
