Re: Once Upon a Time on ABC

I have to sort of agree. I think the actress who plays Red does a good job, but this episode had to be tough for almost everybody. Red's dilemma of controlling her wolfiness was resolved just like that. The other wolves were introduced and then taken out in the course of a day or two. It bothers me that characters are being introduced and then taken out over the course of an episode.
Why wasn't King George arrested? He cut a man in half!!!
Should Grumpy/Leroy be drinking? Isn't he an alcoholic?
Also, is Sydney Glass still in that padded room?
I really like this show. This episode kind of bothered me because things were resolved way too easily. The saving grace of the episode was Rumplestiltskin helping out Henry.
    7.17.55, I agree with you.
    Spoiler
It makes me wonder if he somehow knew that Snow and James would have a daughter who'd meet his son and have a child with him this whole time. As though maybe everything he's been doing has been toward that end. But I also like the idea that Bae became Peter Pan. What a great motivation for Hook to hate Peter Pan so.

Wow that was a HUGE spoiler....even for me. Or maybe I'm just not paying attention because I didn't know any of what you put above...I must not be paying attention.

I'm sorry, Clara. The spoiler was mainly just my theories. I put it in spoiler tags because of 7.17.55's spoiler tags. I figured it was safe to talk about the episode on Thursday because it aired on Sunday. But I really like Rumplestiltskin's story and like to speculate. I'm trying to avoid a lot of reviews because some people are posting spoilers in the comments sections. If I'm over-stepping with my posts, I can tone it down.
But... I did just read that Last Resort's been cancelled. So maybe Cinderella can come back?

    1. King George was found, and is likely arrested.
    2. Sydney Glass is likely not on the canvas (and why we aren't see an Aladdin story yet) because the actor, Giancarlo Esposito is working on "REVOLUTION". I wouldn't be surprised if he wound up back in a mirror simular to August's state.

Based on the recent episode, there are few bits that we learn more about later on:
    1. Mermaids were mention again.
    2. Red's Granny had a "past" with Rumplestilken(but may of refered to Mr. Gold owning her inn).

OH no worries at all.....I probably needed to pay more attention because that makes sense now.

Ok I KNOW someone in this thread called that Cora was Queen of Hearts!!!

    Good job!

But when Regina went to fetch her father with Jefferson from the Queen of Hearts...did Regina know that the Queen of Hearts was her mother?

Then again, I thought Graham was the Big Bad Wolf, and he turned out to be The Huntsman, so this could be another red herring.

    Thanks!

In the latest episode, they were really pushing the whole
    Spoiler
“Regina turns good” bit. Henry: “Wow,you really HAVE changed!”
I've come up with an almost-fanficcy alternate version of this story arc. I'm putting spoiler tags around it because it references the real show, but none of this happened:

    Spoiler

After the curse is broken, Regina has to flee Storybrooke and takes refuge in a cottage in the woods. (Irony.) She disguises herself as the Old Hag, initially to plot her revenge, but regret over poisoning Henry/isolation from the town convinces her to try to do “good,” (although perhaps she isn't very good at it at first, continuing to do “bad” things in the name of “good.”). Eventually, David hears about an old woman in the woods who knows magic and goes to her for help with getting Emma and Mary Margaret back. Her later figures out that the Hag is the Queen (!), but he still needs her help, so he reluctantly continues working with her. Spencer/King Geroge finds out about this alliance, and reveals it to the town as part of his campaign against David.

I think something like this would have worked better than just....

Regina: “Oh, hi Henry! David invited me over to babysit because we're best buds now. He's so over the whole 'trying to kill him and his wife on multiple occasions, casting a curse that caused them to give up their firstborn child, destroyed our world and gave them amnesia, framing his wife for murder in another attempt to keep them apart, and then trying to poison his daughter while inadvertently poisoning you, sweetie!”

Re: Once Upon a Time on ABC

I finally got into this show about a month ago and I am so hooked! January 6th can't come soon enough!

Kind of a spoiler (although ABC is showing the clip on the air for commercials), but
    Spoiler
up to date Storybrooke Snow and Charming get cozy in bed! It's about time they got a little steamy

I love the theories for Bae and I think it is really interesting! I keep wondering how much more we'll get to see of all that this season, but Robert Carlyle has said in an interview that the next few episodes will have Rumple making some really huge choices. Excited!

Interesting side note - the sheriff (love that character and I'm sad that he's gone) was originally supposed to be Sherlock Holmes. They couldn't do it though because of rights.

Re: Once Upon a Time on ABC

One of the creators, I think Adam Horowitz, has been tweeting the titles of upcoming episodes. No real spoilers, and sometimes you might think a title means the episode's going to be about one thing and then it's something completely different. One of them caught my attention though. So I present for your speculation, the title of episode 16:
