You aren't kidding! The beginning had a few giggles...then I'm screaming "NOOOOOO!!" at my tv, then bawling my eyes out.

I'm an emotional wreck this morning :P

Re: AMC's The Walking Dead Season 3

For me I found it not as exciting as the last two episodes mainly because the characters that died were to me not that deep compared to others like Glen or Rick......and of course Dayle if any of those guys go then I'll be on the edge of my seat at it happens but it was obvious they were replacing T with the Inmate....or at least to my friends and I

I definitely felt your pain. I felt like my emotions were tested last night.
My friend and I couldn't hold our tears for the last scene though. So heartbreaking and I woke up still upset about it lol.

I called it on the first death and the person causing all the rucus too. Felt smart for a second for figuring both out lol.
Reading the comic book, I was ready for it to happen, but just not on random episode 4 which took me by surprise -_-

Last night's episode was definitely a sad one. But I hated Lori, so that b**** deserved it, hahaha. Before it all happened, I text my friend "I bet she's gonna die due to birth complications." I was more bummed out about T-Dog dying. I was also "Where the hell did Carol go?!? Is she okay?!?" haha. GREAT episode though.

O, not in cruelty, not in wrath,
    The Reaper came that day;
'T was an angel visited the green earth,
    And took the flowers away.
    And also Lori

I'm glad that Lori's death wasn't something that changed from the comics, it was necessary. And even though the episode had been spoiled for me, it held it's tension.

And I love the macabre episode name.

And how is it that some prisoners where clean shaven? There wouldn't be razors in the kitchen. Knives maybe, but do they keep knives in prison kitchens? Or is everything ordered already cut up? If it was knives, then why didn't we see scars from cuts from them learning to use the knives as razors? They would surely become infected since there wasn't the infirmary available, and there wouldn't be much soap or any running water.
    So yeah...
My mom worked in a prison kitchen, they do get knives.

Yea the whole hygiene thing throws me. The only one who seems to be changing at all is Carl. His hair is longer by a few inches. Even Maggie's hair is short and looks professionally layered. So unless someone in the group had a history as a hair dresser, my money is on Daryl, they missed the continuity issue.

Ha well I think its just for the show. In reality I'm sure we all believe that if it were a real apocolyptic event...these people would not look the way they do. But it comes pretty close.

Lordy Lordy! Rick lost his mind!!

But initially I think alot of people are losing it. Kinda like the Governor keeping his daughter hidden...blegh. So sad.

A good episode. Not as intense as last weeks, but it was a good episode. Glad to see Woodbury finally showing some of its true colors, but truth is that I think that the Governor's going to be toned down from the comic version (and some of his comic self channeled into Merle).

Anything was going to be a come-down from episode 4, but it was still a good episode. Hopefully Andrea will figure out the Governor soon.

    My question was...

    Spoiler
Didn't Carl shoot Lori? So she was dead as dead can be. Then why did that fat walker Rick stabbed a million times eat Lori? Lori was dead, shot in the head. Or, maybe Carl didn't shoot Lori IN THE HEAD. We didn't see where he shot her, only heard the shot. Or maybe Lori was still fresh enough for that fat walker to enjoy?

I think it was due to freshness. Zombies mostly detect things through sound and smell, and just because a person just died I doubt the person would smell "dead" within such a small amount of time.

That person probably still smelled good enough to eat. lol
