Re: Desperate Housewives - Season 3

That's how I felt about Nora being shot, too. It was so quick and unexpected, just like, "Oh, really?" *BAM* I was like, "Whoa!" Then I wanted her to make it, just for a split second. The scene with her going to tell Tom and Lynette that they were moving to Mexico was pretty funny. "We're not even allowed to be talking. *shhh*"

Gabby and Carlos cracked me up, smashing up everything they own and then getting back together. I really hope they do end up back together but we'll still need more antics from them.

Re: Desperate Housewives - Season 3 - The Official Discussion Thread - Spoilers Welco

That was such a great episode. In fact, that might possibly have been the best episode of DH ever.

Bigsby: Just to show how dumb I am, I kept thinking during this episode that she reminded me so much of Jackie in Roseanne. Stupid me didn't put 2 and 2 together. I absolutely loved her 'normal'-ness in the grocery store. I cracked up when Trish called.

Lynette: Once again she shows why she got an emmy 2 years ago. And I also really liked the overarching story with her dream.

Bree: Wonderful as always. (What else can I say about Marcia, she deserved an emmy last year and more than likely will deserve one this year).

Gabby: Her fight with Carlos in the begining was hysterical and their makeup during the shooting was so sweet. Unlike Gabby's last cry (when they took away the baby), this one felt genuine and you could actually feel for her.

Susan: Not much to say about her this episode, she was kind of brought to the back-burner.

Nora: Okay, I was 99% sure before the episode she was the one to die. But that didn't make it any easier to watch. I think this was the most believable way to get her off the show.

Overall, this night had some of the funniest lines of the episode. Just to name a few:

Bigsby: "I'm having a really bad day here, is a little cooperation too much too ask for?"

Tom: I didn't think you would want a 5th kid.
Lynette: I don't. But I didn't want the first four either and they're growing on me.

Nora: "I don't have later, you dumb Bitch!"

    Neighbors: "Awful, just awful"
    Bree: "Yeah....Deviled eggs?"

Cop: "Yeah, that's part of our hostage exchange program."

Bigsby: "Tish, turn on your damn TV!"

Carolyn: "There's never a good explanation for hitting a woman."
Bree "I thought that too, but then I met you."

    Best Line....
Edie: "Sometimes you have to take one for the team."

    After snipping the above...

Yep, those were funny then, now that I read them they are even funnier <ROTFLAMO>

This is the one episode where Susan did something that didn't go horribly wrong. To me Susan always (well mostly) has the best of intentions, but no matter what she does, it goes wrong! Well, last night, she did something and it didn't go horribly wrong, just partly wrong with the hostage exchange proposal, but even that worked out OK in the end.

I keep thinking that DH just can't get more weird, but each week it does. This episode really surprised me. It just keeps getting better.

Awe. Some. Just awesome. I was pretty sure it was going to be Nora, but it was so abrupt, I stopped breathing, and didn't really take a full breath until the commercial break. It was so intense and so well done, especially watching them come out of the store, and watching the anticipation on Tom's face, and the reactions of everyone at Bree's house.

I absolutely loved Lynette's final dream with Mary Alice. Loved it.

Desperate Housewives - Season 3 - The Official Discussion Thread - Spoilers Welcome

Yes, one of the best episodes yet. Both Becka and I were like WOW! When that woman shot Nora, my mouth dropped and hung there for like 2 minutes. I so thought it would be her, but with the way the whole episode was going, I thought it would be Lynette. Well she did get shot, but thanks to the new neighbor, it was only in the arm.

I have to agree with all of you here. Best episode I thought. Nora being shot in the chest...WOW! I too, figured it would be her, and she had been so annoying since she came to the show, but still...to go out like that?! Yikes! I loved the scenes between Carlos and Gabby. Glad that Susan, for once, wasn't annoying. Lynette rocks! Good for her for telling off Carolyn, the nut job! SHe may have gotten shot in the arm, but it was her who put an end to the hostage situation IMO. Loved, loved, loved the show! (BTW...Wow Mary Alice Young is TALL! Or is Lynette really short??)

I love the Mary Alice storyline. I love that she narrates the episodes. I haven't seen the dream episode yet but I'm looking forward to it!

Dang...wish I had that much time. Yeah...that's nearly a half foot difference in height! I'm the same height as Felicity though!
    No height on Carlos?

Thanks for the spoilers...I like them all except the last one. 2 of the spoilers are kind of a given, just seeing the current episodes though.

Mods...anyway we can get that title shortened so it doesn't pop up when we're trying to post saying the title is "too long"?
