Talking Duane "DOG" Chapman gets some very good news!

The Mexican government dropped their charges against him a few days ago. He was on Larry King right after his charges were dropped !

Since Mr. Luster lived about a mile away from me in Mussel Shoals, CA - a seaside cluster of expensive homes off the NW Ventura County coast...you can imagine why "Dog" is perceived as something of a hero here. From the Ventura County Star:

I still feel bad about how the crew was treated last September but hopefully all is well that ends well.

Oh, Barry, you reminded me of something. When you said "crew," I forgot to mention that Tim and Leland also had their charges dropped .

But yes, I feel bad for them because of what they went through.

I saw him and Beth on Larry King the other night and heard this news. I'm so glad! That show is my guilty pleasure! ha!

This is what he gets for breaking the law in another country? I understand he took a very dangerous predator and brought him back to justice, but I can't ignore the fact that he flat-out broke Mexican law. What if he hadn't been famous, if he was just some nobody? Would the media have been all over it or would he be rotting away, another American victim of their own arrogance?
