Unfortunately, my list of popular shows I've never seen is waaaaaay longer than the list of popular show I have seen. I have a knack for picking the shows that get cancelled in their first season . But some of the really popular shows I've never seen:

Well Seth McFarlene who created Family Guy also created American Dad, so that's probably why you get that impression.

I don't watch procedural dramas because they freak me out. Any law based I refuse to watch (because my mom's a lawyer and I've been dealing with that for years.), most network reality t.v. shows, anything on HBO in the last 4 years (Sex in the City yes... that's it.), any comedy on ABC (exception "Ugly Betty.").... a list. I have a very small list of "popular" t.v. I watch. Heroes, Lost, Ugly Betty, I like "Notes from the Underbelly" but that's not popular. The problem is I have major issues with violence so watching Prison Break causes me nightmares. Dude, I was watching... something silly Sunday night (pre-Emmys) that had suspense and there was a funny sound... I was freaked all week.

Just watched Gossip Girl. That's cute! I like it!

I tried to watch Lost but too much airplane crash in the first few eps.

I refuse to watch Grey's Anatomy. So many of the plots just sound so unrealistic and bizarre. I've never watched Heroes either. It just doesn't sound that interesting to me.

I've never seen the Sopranos. I guess I'll have to rent it on DVD.

Just watched Gossip Girl. That's cute! I like it!

I really wanted to hate this show but I liked it.
