I was speaking of the "money demo" there.

Besides, I never would have approved of a show like that if I were running the network. It's more suited for My Network TV IMHO, and that web is crashing and burning faster than the Hindenburg.

Ah, the 18-49. I completely agree. The controversy wasn't worth it ratings wise.

And besides, "Pushing Daisies" premieres in two weeks and will likely blow Kid Nation to the interwebs for its' remaining run, ensuring no Season Two.

    Did anyone watch?

Or is everyone in kind of a numbed shocked mode?

I'm watching....and recording....depending on where the show goes it might be an interesting thing to edit and show to my 5th graders. 5th grade social studies focuses on "Our Nation" and I will have them create their own nations so this could be good for that. I'll keep recording and see how it all pans out.

    My best score ever!

After reading your reactions I'm kind of glad I missed this.

    Thanks for the heads up!

I was just wondering if anyone else caught this week's.

They killed two chickens. It was interesting to see the situation develop and their individual reactions.

I thought that most of the kids were pretty mature about the killing the chickens thing. I thought there would be a lot more drama.

I'm watching!!It's way cute. Being a teacher's aide, I'm kinda used to seeing kids being selfish (I work at a Private school. Every kid is stuck up I'm afraid), so seeing these kids work together makes me think that there's hope for the future generations yet.

I agree...that's what I like most about it. Seeing them help each other out and being compassionate is very heartwarming.

Greg needs to realise that just being the strongest and hardest worker is not going to win him a gold star. He's got to perk up his attitude, as well. I think I might have been a lot like him when I was 15...well, I cursed as much as he did anyway! LOL

I think Greg is getting played as the villain when he is really trying to make things work for everybody. Michael has had a thing with him since the first episode when Greg called him out for not carrying anything. Michael and the princess need to get booted off the council.

On the other hand Colton RULEZ! Did you see that kid stare down the bull and make it run? That kid has some guts on him and the way he owned the sheep challenge was very impressive.

Is Colton the kid that was running around saying that a twister was coming? Cause if thats him, that kid is as cute as can be

I agree about Greg - he is being edited to be the villian - and I'm sure soon Miss Georgia will be edited to be a villianesse - it was sad when she started to sob, but darnit girl, she needs to realize that she isn't ruling the roost like I'm sure she does everywhere else in life!

Out of all the episodes already aired, I only caught the last few minutes of Tuesday nights one. I teared up when that little girl talked to her parents.
