I know I'm a little late to this Party, just watched last week's episode last night.
I thought the dance party at the end was way too forced, especially Gizzie.
I find it interesting that even though Mer is the "focus" of the show, everyone they bring to be her "enemy" turns out to be far more likeable. Look at Addison - they had to give her a separate show since she upstaged Mer so bad. Lexi started out a little boring, but I like her now. I couldn't believe Mer's "looks" and sighs when Yang brought Lexi in - self absorbed much?
Good morning, son
In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
It was pain
Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
It was a good episode! Loved that they gave Christina a little heart - holding little Tuck's hand. Glad to see that Meredith and McDreamy (what is his name?) are through (for now), and that she it trying to be nicer to her sister. Like the secret they are setting up with Alex (the healer telling him he had darkness in his throat/neck). Shows that he probably had a traumatic experience as a child to make him the jerk man.
My daughter never watches this show - but she did watch this eps - she nailed it - Meredith is spoiled and McDreamy doesn't deserve her crap - he is trying, offering, giving her space and she comes off as a spoiled brat
And she thinks Karev is hot LOL
After this last eps, I agree with her - usually I cut her slack, but this one was pretty bad
The off-on-off-on-off-on-off-on Meredith & Derek bit is getting rather tiresome. Every time they break up it's all tension and anxiety until they reunite, only to have tension and anxiety until they split again. I hope that this is it for them. Rose is so infinitely better than Meredith that it's absurd to think anyone would choose neurotic, selfish, living cadaver Meredith over her.
I always love whatever storyline they come up with for Alex. I really think that he is the best developed and most interesting character on the show. I'd love to see him featured more once all the crybaby writers finally go back to work.
Izzy still bugs the crap out of me, but George is improving. The scenes with his Mom were nice to watch and I loved that he got called out on his crap. Poor Callie though. Seeing her still hurt was heart wrenching.
All in all another great episode. I'm eager for more so hopefully, by the grace of Zeus, all the whining ninny writers will soon give up on their collective temper tantrum and go back to work.
