Re: Season 4 of 'Grey's Anatomy"- Seriously!

But what is going to happen to my George????

I have a girl crush on Addy so i'll try Private Practice.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I have a boy crush on her, so the naked dancing last night was quite enjoyable for me. Really odd patinet storylines though. The relationships between the regular cast were good, but the patient stories just didn't click for me with the exception of maybe Addison and Pete's patient.

Can't wait to see where Grey's goes tonight. I'm curious to see what new characters we get since the departures of both Addison and Burke put them down two big surgeons. Perhaps that female cardio doc we've seen compete with Burke before will come back to take his spot. I wouldn't mind seeing her character developed further.

I didn't think I would like Private Practice... but I did! My heart was pounding the whole time Addison was helping that patient (in case people haven't watched yet, I won't spoil.) But I am curious if it's really possible not to feel any pain as Tim Daly's charater said? I also enjoyed Amy Brenneman's plotline. I am anxious to see how this show progresses now.

As for Grey's - what I really care about is Karev and whether or not we'll see Ava/Rebecca again...

Private Practice we have on the DVR and will watch it this weekend when we get all caught up on all the shows.

As for Grey's, I am excited that it is back. I will miss the Burke/Yang relationship, and I too am interested to see how she is without him.

I was upset with the whole Meredith/Derek storyline last year. It was kind of blah and they both were stupid. I hope that with her sister it will either make or break them and that they don't act like stupid kids.

I am excited though. I love this show!!!

Sooooo..... Thoughts on the first ep of the season?

Personally, I loved it. Lexi was really well written and performed. There were subtle things about her that really showed that she was Meredith's sister. Certain traits that obviously came from the father if you know what I mean.

Izzy working on the deer had me cracking up, Derek and Mark had some great moments, and the reaction shot of Christina when she found out Burke was really gone was absolutely brilliant.

I loved Private Practice- but I watched Grey's through a sleepy haze and don't remember anything- except the deer thing......and I thought Mer and Der broke up and then had break up sex?

    Or was I imagining things?

Re: Season 4 of 'Grey's Anatomy"- Seriously!

I liked the first episode, I thought it was nice the way the set up things to come.

The thing I think I like most about Grey's is they take a theme and run with it the entire episode. Or they weave parts of the characters personal lives and mirror them to the current situations, like Yang and the single mom who almost lost her arm. Izzy with the deer etc..

It's that brilliant mix that keeps me tuned in every week and so far I haven't been disappointed.

    But back to the episode...

I think Izzy is just being wrong by pursuing George, the guy is married AND being an intern again, back off woman!

Meridith, sorry, she bugs me, Dr. Shepard can come sleep at my house.

Meridith's sister I like, the part with her and George was really great, I think she will be a wonderful character. I've seen her somewhere before and I can't place it, anyone know?

Calli and Bailey was a good veiled cat fight, as well as Bailey with the Chief. I got his point in the end though and I agreed, she should be in the OR.

I don't care much for the Mer's sister storyline. And Katherine Heigl actually has some talent, why must they always put her in the most ridiculous situations? A deer?
I almost cried at the end when Christina told Alex she missed Burke. That was a nice moment in an otherwise meh show for me.
My jaw dropped to the floor when George showed up at Izzy's though. That was a great touch.

My DVR cut off right when she opened the door. I was so pissed. Thankfully I had the next show set to record just in case and it picked up just in time for his dialogue.

The only thing I saw was that he said he loved her too (I think). I'm probably gonna rewatch it online later when I'm bored with nothing better to do at work.

Re: Season 4 of 'Grey's Anatomy"- Seriously!

I really dug last night's epi. Der's outburst about Mer being damaged, and wanting this relationship but not knowing how to do it was so good to hear, after all his wierdness last season. He really understands her, and wants to be with her, and hopefully will be able to help her learn how to have this relationship. (I sound like they're real people. Dur.)

And I watched Private Practice too! It didn't feel like I was watching a brand new show, it was really easy to get into. In particular, I liked that they added some dimension to Del. It was a nice little touch!
